The door width was listed on your website did not show the correct door width of the actual truck. this caused me to have to load everything that I was trying to bring home on an angle and made loading/unloading of the truck extremely difficult.

It took the guy half an hour to even serve us because he was too busy , and we still had to pay for that half hour as part of our time with the vehicle. The gas tank was nearly empty when we got it.

It was great for what I needed some conserns that I had. The right side mirror couldn't adjust. Was very concerned about my safety. Also I had a hard time filling it back up after I was done. I spilled fuel all over the place. Also there was garbage in the back and a sweater.

Uhaul randomly would shift into a high gear as driving, so it would shift down into 2nd from third while holding throttle steady. Couldn't extend my uhaul, on website or by calling. Always been a good fan i even told the person i returned it at that it was running a lil off. Also not sure why i got charged an extra on my bill. Kinda not impressed by that. Unit was Clean but im not sure the drivabiliry even with out tow haul on it was gear searching or downshufting randomly revs would go to 1500 to 3000.

The location was in the neighborhood which is why it was selected. However, the cab of the truck was dirty and had food left on the floor. The process of picking up the truck was very time consuming 20 minutes at least! This was unexpected, since I had done the reservation on line with all the information that was then requested again by the representative. He also failed to tell us we were required to take a photo of the dash showing the mileage and fuel level, we had to go back out to the truck to take the photo.

The vehicle had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke and the air vent was broken. When I talked to the staff, their answer was "don't worry about it it being cleaned on Monday". There was another vehicle there that was the same size, and when I asked for it, the answer was that it was reserved for someone else, so I could not use it. I explained that I just quit smoking and and would appreciate the switch, but the answer was still no. There was No walkthrough done before leaving or when I arrived back and when I got back I was told I had to go and take a photo of the dashboard to show KM's used and gas level, so the staff could take a photo of my photo..very weird and poor service once again. I will never refer U-haul to any of my clients (I am a real estate broker). The service vs the cost is very very poor.

20 footer truck has bad alignment going all over the road and worse on dirt road. When at full stop it seems truck surges foward fee times while i held on brakes harderèè and couldnt put in park after few forceful tries. Speedometer is in MPH. Cant read KmPH on speedometer.

UHaul was dirty inside the cab and in the back part of the truck. I got charged a cleaning fee although the person before me left the Uhaul dirty and it was not cleaned before I obtained it. Was I supposed to clean up after the previous renter's in order to not get charged?

This was not the location I wanted to pick up my rental from. It ended up costing me more because this location was farther away. I think uhaul should begin dropping off request vehicles at requested sites if they're within a certain distance to prevent further over charging of their customers. Either that or only charge for the amount of kilometers it would have taken to drive from the original pick up location.

When I picked up the truck I was given the choice of drop off location. I had to pick up a car dolly in Strathroy which I was told I could return with the truck. When I returned the truck to the chosen location I was told I could not return the dolly to the same location. This was very inconvenient and after calling Uhaul customer service they also didn't seem to care. They told me I was called about an alternate drop off location. I never reviewed this phone call. Then after picking up the truck and driving to Strathroy to pick up dolly I found the truck had two holes in the front driver side tire which Pam at Strathroy Uhaul was amazing at looking after me by getting me into a garage to get it fixed. An hour and a half later and $60 my own cost, I was able to pick up dolly and drive to pick up my car. As I got to London I was waved at by a police officer that the one ramp was being dragged. I pulled over and I found the pin to hold the ramp in place was missing. I was told to waste my time and drive across London to get it fixed. I'm sorry I did not have time as I had to load up the truck. I zip tied the ramp in place. The wipers were also in poor condition so I had to stop at another location to get them changed out. Is none of this checked??

Was severely over charged TWICE in the same month. Never received the reimbursement for this overpayment the first time or the second time- was then charged bogus fuel charges when the fuel was indeed filled back to where it was- receipts were provided. Absolute scam. Never will I use UHAUL again!

No wiper fluid and wiper was defective on driver side impairing drive while on highway during a snow and rain fall. Had to stop twice on highway to wipe windshield and remove snow and ice from wiper. Absolutely friendly customer service when relaying issue on return. However, service and maintenance crew need to better.

I reserved moving blankets and flat dolly with the van and neither of these were available at the site. The gentleman was very apologetic but nothing he could do about it. I had to travel elsewhere to rent a dolly for the same price as the van! You will need to 'tweak' your services so that what is ordered is provided OR make it clear that those items are not available at the site.

We were thinking of renting a smaller unit - info on your website about how long tonput a trailer hitch on a vehicle would be helpful. We were told a month. Also - we wanted to rent one way and a van would have worked but again were told when we arrived this wasn't possible either. Better clarification for this type of service would reduce decison- making and make for a quicker process. Stay were pleasant and knowledable but perhaps short staffed. Thanks

Don't change the pick up location. Or at least notify the customer of the pickup location. Not have them schedule with one that has the truck to show up and be sent elsewhere. Wasting my time and kilometres. Truck was dirty, back was filthy and had to sweep it out before using it. Transmission shifted terribly wasting fuel.

UHAUL called us the day before our move to tell us that they no longer had any trucks for us. We had booked this 2 weeks in advance and the girl who we spoke with over the phone was laughing and rude. We had to scramble to figure out what truck we could use as we had booked a 26 foot truck and their solution was a 10-15 foot truck. Luckily another lady called the next day offering a 20 foot truck. We still had to find another truck and trailer as we were moving out of our house. I found that UHAUL is unreliable.

First of all you change my pickup location without asking me first. This then added mileage to our van which was not necessarily. There was some obvious confusion on your behalf because you canceled my reservation. It turns out you made multiple reservations. Why? The person at the pickup location did not have a clue how to find and to process the reservation and then to complete the whole process when the vehicle was returned. He was completely inexperienced. And, why did he need to call me to ask if I was returning the vehicle before my time was to expire? And Scott made the promise to me by phone that because of all the problems from the outset, he would put in the computer system a note to give me a 50% discount on my invoice. The agent could not find it. This was very poor customer relations! Dan Griffith

The gentleman running the convenience store was great. UHAUL as a company was absolutely atrocious. I registered online, following all steps with diligence. I specifically registered the pickup of the 20' truck at the Sarnia Road location (near the Hyde Park intersection) as the location is directly between the property I moved from and the property I moved to. Moving the pickup to the opposite end of the city of London not only pissed me off, but also it was unprofessional and perpetuates a very poor brand organization. If you care about customer retention, you should more effectively communicate with customers. I am furious and at this point, have little desire to consider this company again. I'll likely choose another truck rental company for my personal transportation and business transportation. This poor business practice left me responsible for paying to fuel the truck for a longer distance than needed, and wasted my very valuable time by forcing me to navigate London traffic simply to remain in accordance with the UHAUL pickup and drop off guidelines. To reiterate, you can improve by taking your heads out of your asses and showing customers that you give a shit.
