This outlet was a scary sketchy DUMP!! NO ONE on site; posted phone # went to voicemail. 2nd phone # - guy who said he'd get someone to help me, but then he texted, "just leave the keys". But it was a trailer and I COULDN'T UNHITCH IT!!! I had to call my son to do it. No reply to my angry text message. Someone eventually came and unhitched for meGabrielle L.

Ensure the staff do a thorough check of the trucks, the first one I got had a damaged tire, and I had to bring it back during my trip. They switched the vehicle for me but it shouldn't have been able to leave the lot in that condition, could have been very dangerous. The second truck had no issues though.Elleka Y.

This location was a mess. The person wasn't around - he never picked up the phone. Someone was there who told me to drop the key in the return box. After I returned, someone has taken the truck, and run it to the full miles, and then, I got a return email after 36 hours. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE - This is really dangerous for someone else to drive the vehicle under my contract. Someone from UHaul should call me at 847-687-3095 to rectify this.Vijay I.

Exterior of equipment dirty. Parking lot a mess with mud. And too crowded anc not professional.. Needs attention during the week with staffing and answering phone calls. Covid is over get back to work. Attendant at pickup was the best thing and friendly and helpful.Mark C.

The 15' truck rented was very old not in proper condition and gear shifter shifting from driving mode to reverse mode was not easy.SUHAILAHMED S.
I asked for an in person pick up. No one was at the location for this. Had to do over the phone and text. Location of the vehicle did not make it easy to get out of the yard. Vehicle was full of trash that I had to deal with before being able to use the truck. Normally trucks are full of gas and supposed to be returned the same way. It had less than a 1/4 tank so I returned it in the same fashion.Tom S.
I was not given any paper work, just the keys and was pointed to the general direction of the vehicle. When I entered the vehicle I was greeted with an estimated 19 miles of fuel left. I returned the vehicle with an estimated 23 miles. Was charged $10 for pads, disputed that line item, still charged. I do not feel even the bare minimum has been done, an utter failure from a customer service POV. At least the vehicle ran.Boris O.

The phone-based rental system is a great idea, but some software and compatibility issues remain to be optimized. Thank you for a simple, no-frills rental experience. If we require rentals in the future, we are likely to be return customers.Michael John S.

Worst uhaul facility ever. Place literally was a junk yard with nothing but cars, trailers and junk everywhere. Trailer wasn't ready, had to physically move it myself to get it out. No one at the facility to help. Contact on the phone told me "well, sometimes you have to deal with problems when they happen". Total jackass and horrible customer service. No one at the facility to help unload it. Totally a horrible experience. Will not ever use Uhaul for this stuff againMichael V.

I had the following issues: The cabin of the truck was full of boxes from the previous renter The truck fuel tank was empty; I realized this after I got on the highway Inside the truck was completely dirty I had to fuel the truck myself and cost me $100. I returned the truck with more than a half-full tank and was not reimbursed. The local agent was very rude and did not provide any support after I complained to him of my issues with the truck.Lawk S.

They over charged me for the mileage I used on my trip. I was charged an extra $60 where as I didn't use those miles. I contacted UHaul customer service twice and they couldn't help me.Saad A.

This location Entered the incorrect gas level and milage amount which resulted in me having to pay more money. This is incredibly dishonest and from the reviews left on your business i can see it's not the first time this has happened, how uhaul allows this is shocking. When i asked about a receipt you said it would be emailed to me but Not receiving a receipt or anything till the day after i returned the truck to see what you had entered as starting gasoline and a starting odometer is so shady and deceitful, and not answering your phones so that we may fix this is issue is unjust. STAY AWAY from this place and for peace of mind, don't chose Uhaul in general. If i get my money back ill update.Diego A.

Quickest and nicest check in process I've ever experienced at U-HAULNICOLIA I.
Crazy location - clearly an equipment and other vehicle storage yard more than a UHaul location. Very difficult to navigate the equipment to connect the trailer. No electrical connection extension on-site, so was told to drive several miles to another UHaul site - without lights - for them to give me one. When I got there, they were not happy to have to give me their last extension. Either run enough wire(s) to connection to the tow vehicle on your trailers, or ensure your locations have the extensions!Aaron H.

The gentleman who helped me was great. He got our equipment hooked up quickly. Since I reserved over the phone, there was no paperwork to deal with for a tow dolly. Returning the equipment was very quick and easy also.CHARLESM F.

The trailer i rented was too heavy for me to remove from my hitch. I ended up injuring my back doing so. It would be nice to have a manual tongue jack on the trailer. I rented the 6x12so V.

Everyone I have interacted with at U-Haul has been great. Pickup and drop off were easy and straightforward. The problem I had with the van was quickly addressed by corporate. My main concern was the condition of the vehicle at pickup. It was so filthy that I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning it out of trash, dirt, Kleenexes, screws, soda bottles.Eric C.
Not having old moving blankets infested with maggots in the back, would be a good place to start. Secondly, actually answering the phone when customers are trying to contact you, or even returning a voice mail would be the next step. I assume a refund is our of the question, but an acknowledgement of the customer and apology may have gone a long way (since this didn't happen, I'll never know).Thomas K.
