The trailer I had reserved two weeks ago was not ready the day before my trip. One of the wheels was damaged and no one called me. I found out the day before when I dropped in the check to see if it was going to be ready. That’s when they said “Oh - it’s being repaired” and we don’t know if it will be ready. I was upset because no one notified me and I would have been screwed the next day. They found me a replacement trailer in Vallejo. Seemed like they didn’t care ….. until I went there in person to check !
Allen WThe UHaul app isn’t fully functional when trying to check in online. Wouldn’t allow me to move Beebi’s adding a driver. But we went to the location and Josh was so helpful! Explained everything. Gave us a newer vehicle (we was great since driving 5+ hours) He Took care of everything quickly & easily. Fantastic customer service!
Diane AJosh was the only good experience I had with doing business with U-Haul. Other than that, it was the most miserable experience I can think of. Nothing was handled correctly by U-Haul. I would never use U-Haul again.
JASON RI wanted to share that we had a very poor experience this time. First, the van was not in the indicated location. I had to search around and eventually found it in a nearby parking lot. Once I located the van, I discovered that the key was not inside. Since I booked through the app, I never imagined that I would still need to locate a physical office, especially because the pickup location did not appear to be a designated U-Haul location. Instead, it was a place with a small sign that served not only U-Haul but also other businesses. As a result, I had to drive back to that location, wait in line to get the key, then return to the parking lot in my own car to finally pick up the van. I also tried contacting customer service through the app, but the estimated wait time mentioned by the recording was one hour! This was extremely frustrating, especially because I had paid someone to help me with the move. I lost approximately 40 minutes due to these issues, but I still had to pay the person I hired for this time. Additionally, I was supposed to be somewhere else at a specific time and was delayed because of these inconveniences. I have rented U-Haul vehicles from the official Concord location before and never experienced any issues. Unfortunately, this pickup experience was very disappointing. I would appreciate it if you could review my rental charge and adjust the rate accordingly, since I was only able to access the van much later than my scheduled pickup time due to circumstances beyond my control. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to your response.

Sagiv WI picked up my truck after hours because Livermore failed to mention that even though I reserved a truck two weeks in advance, I may need to travel another 30+ miles to pick up my truck if one is not returned to their yard. In a logical persons mind this does make sense. What Uhaul should do is transfer the equipment to the location where the reservation was made. Car rental companies do this often. Concord was great and accommodating. Livermore Uhaul shit the bed and drastically altered my schedule.

Diane RDid not receive any of the moving supplies ordered. The truck that was given to me (after hours) was parked between two trucks and was unable to move. Had to call a tow to get to the truck and that took an hour and a half of my moving time away.

Timothy MMy online experience was a nightmare. Truck assigned to me was in an alternate parking lot and when I got there it had an empty tank of gas. I recommend this location does not allow on line reservations as the logistics of dealing with alternate truck location and keys located in lock boxes near office is confusing.

Truck that had a roof leak unfortunately the storquest storage in lafeyette Walnut Creek gate broken kept the vehicle extended and the rain leaked into the truck for multiple night and days. Flooding the truck the pads blankets tv couches electronic equipment all my sentimental certificates. Harry Potter collection books special new boxes of new kitchen equipment and ninja blenders food saver foodi ninja air fryer and grill. New couches. Electric scooter. All the boxes deteriorated and broke open soaked clothing shoes designer. Deebot robot vacuums two of them 75 inch tv. Almost 1500 dollars 2200 dollar couch soaked stained in flooded filthy nasty. Rain water with filthy. Truck dirt dust. And collection items sentimental items Food saver machine toaster numerous dishes pots pans Bowls plates. Just slide open glass chattering 75 inch tv Vizio. Dyson wand ikea speaker lamp wardrobe. The leather and wood massage table.pillows blankets. Sheets down feathers. It’s ruined everything and needs to be reviewed the video of my entire life in your uhaul that’s not enclosed. The roof literally puddled and streamed non stop water into the front right corner and puddled the entire truck with water and. Filth just keeps streaming in through the sides and front and mainly front corner. View the videos and damaged property And let’s figure out how to resolve the cost of this matter thank you
FRANK MThe staff was very rude. I reserved dollys when I arrived there, he said he doesn't have it and was arguing with me that I just made the request, they can't guarantee it will be available. The truck was block by another truck, so we had to wait for someone to move it for us. The fuel of the truck is almost empty. The whole experience was terrible, given the already stressful day that we were moving.
Yierpan AI was not offered the Safe Trip service and lost the key and ended up paying $350 for a new key I would very much appreciate a refund for that amount since it was not offered to me. I DEFINITELY would have opted for this service if I knew about it.
Tori FThis 995 Detroit Ave facility is much less busy than the UHaul store on Monument Boulevard. This office was much more convenient and efficient as the Monument office is understaffed and swamped with patrons. I’ll definitely use this Detroit Ave office next time. Nice staff and helpful 👍🏻😊

JASON HThe Sunday phone check-in took the better part of an hour! So many pictures and hoops to jump through to get the keys! There was a low tire warning on the dash and low windshield ceaning warning. Hardly any gas. Nervous making! Then when we returned the van I was told that since I bought insurance none of those pictures etc. were necessary! Why couldn't that have been made clear BEFORE I killed myself in the hot sun trying to get the keys?
