This was the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul. I’ve been a customer of U-Haul for over two decades and I’ve never had the worst experience dealing with folks over it. 995 Detroit Ave. in Concord. The location just purely sucks and he has horrible staff the lax professionalism and customer service. How bad the service was, I will never rent from U-Haul again. Additionally, I will try my best and go out of my way to ensure that everybody I know never goes to this location and experience the shit I have experienced. I sincerely hope that someone in the upper management can give this location a serious assessment because it’s dragging the quality of U-Haul down the train. I have went out of my way to report this to the local news station and yelp and all of my social media. That’s all I got to say.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe location, staff and equipment were great. I do have a huge issue with the corporate policy that resulted in me getting a truck rental wth a 1/4 tank of gas and being told to return it with close to a 1/4 tank. That was a big surprise that cost me a lot. Car rental companies provide a full tank so if I return it full I only pay for the gas I used and it’s easy to do. I had no idea how much gas to fill up with so I ended up returning it with over half a tank of gas, a lot more gas than when I picked the truck up. I feel ripped off. I estimated that I over spent on gas by $60+ dollars. U-Haul ruined for me what could have been a top rating. Whatever justification they might come up with this approach, it’s not good enough.
