The guy hooking it up told me I had the wrong kind of hitch for the small trailer, I've rented at least 20 trailers from uhaul and no one has ever said that...also he hooked it up anyway even though he thought it was wrong. As soon as I got in the highway the chains fell off- there was no rubber stopper, I checked the hitch and could easily screw it several more times tighter. I dropped it off after hours and no one contacted me the next day or for four days. I called twice during that time, left messages and no one responded. I got the receipt but I think that is only bc Uhaul eventually sorted it out on their behalf. I never heard back from them, they clearly don't check their inventory for after hours drop offs the next day.Jena T.

I was disappointed in the service I received from haul. I couldn't get the equipment I ordered on the day scheduled two weeks in advance. I received no call to inform me of the delay. So I was a day behind and lost a day of work as a result.melissa S.

Make sure that if a customer signs up to rent a uhaul earlier than business hours, like 8am, then they should have the appropriate access to it and not have to wait until 9 am for the location to open like I had to. Also, please tell customers that it is cheaper for them to not choose the one way option if it is less than 50 miles because it will cost them more.Kenya H.

We were very pleased with the rental experience at Britt Automotive. We live in Union and had to drive a few miles further for the truck. The staff at Britt was very pleasant and courteous unlike the service we received in Union last week at UNLIMITED ELECTRONICS. The clerk was rude and was not truthful with us regarding the size truck we needed. I would rather drive 25 miles further for a pickup than to ever deal with that woman again.James C.

This was the fourth location I had to go to to get the size of trailer that I had reserved one week prior at a location that is actually closer to to my home. I had to drive 20 miles to this location after waiting at another Uhaul distributor for over a hour and a half before I found out the guy wouldn't be back for at least another hour to lease me the size I needed. I was sent to four separate location and delayed almost 4 hours. My reservation was for a 9 am pickup and the first location did not have the truck. The second and third locations were closed when they should have been opened and the forth location gave me the truck at about 12:30. I had to pay my movers for the time they waited on me. I received and had to respond to an email stating that I had not returned the trailer. After I replied to the Email with the requested info and contacted UHaul by phone, they contacted Britt and cleared up the issue. This should have been the first step before I was contacted.David C.

The U-Haul representative told me that there was a $7 charge because he said I left not enough gas I asked him for his last name and he hung up on me on the phone and refuse to call me back I have spent thousands of dollars renting U-Haul trucks and I will never use the service againBRITAIN G.
