It took about 15 minutes of waiting for the attendant before the Uhual rep that was there dropping off equipment just helped me instead. It was a busy morning, but more help is needed as the attendant was running the gas station and trying to help the 3 people picking up equipment.Mark K.
This was without a doubt the WORST service based experience I've ever had. The pick up process had issues and took over an hour. The extra equipment I reserved wasn't in the truck. The drop off process didn't work, so the end result was I left the keys with the gas station attendant who told me the "u-haul guy" would be in the next day to check it in. I was told on the day of the rental that a $50 refund would be submitted and someone would call me. After another call later in the week, NINE DAYS LATER I got an e-mail stating I had been issued a gift certificate for $25. I'm unlikely to need to use u-haul again for a long time, so I called back in to ask for the refund (which was the original promise) instead. I explained the situation and was put on a "brief hold". Over an hour later I was still on hold, and started a chat with someone. I was told that a "customer action file" had been submitted and to allow 72 hours to get it resolved. 75 hours later, and surprise surprise I had heard nothing. Back to chat, where I was told as if I wasn't already aware that a $25 gift certificate had been issued. I asked again for that to be changed to a refund and was told no further compensation would be issued. I'll NEVER use U-Haul again, and I'll do everything I can to stop anyone I know from using them, and save them from going through the miserable experience that this company calls service.Patrick V.

Show up to work on time, help the customer connect the trailer. Clean the trailer, inspect the trailer. Pretty much be customer aware. I will not rent from this location againChad C.

When I arrived the only employee stated he had never done a truck rental before. I had already completed everything on line and via my phone and advised him of this, and I had called the location 2 days ahead to ensure the rental. The employee spent about an hour on the phone getting coached before I was able to get the truck and leave.Lee C.

We were to pick up the truck in Carmel, Indiana but I guess U-Haul is too cheap to have an employee drive the truck from Brownburg, Indiana to Carmel. poor service and wasted our gas and time.Lucinda M.

The truck was dirty and the appliance dolly that I paid for was NOT in the truck. As a matter of fact, no dolly was available for my use. I called customer service and was told that the uhal center would not open until 2 hours after my 7 am pick up. It was suggested that I go to 1 of 2 other locations to pick up an appliance dolly. I told that would add to the miles on my truck and she said, "Yeah sorry!" I also said that I couldn't wait 2 hours for a dolly as that would cut into my time of use with the truck!! I left and returned to another location, as I was told there was an appliance dolly available there.chKelita W.

Staff at this location was nice enough, but the truck was not adequate. Truck was clean, but not in good shape. The truck had obviously been in an accident. The drivers door didn't open or close properly. It would have been fine for driving a few miles around town, but for an 8oo mile round trip it was not good/comfortable. It was extremely loud as the door didn't close properly, so we had to shout to even talk to each other. Cold air came in the door and the door handle and the speaker opening, so I was constantly frozen.David W.

The chains and electric connection were frozen to the asphalt. The tongue of the trailer was unbelievable. It was crooked so the trailer was off set of the car by at least a foot. Never use again.HARVEY H.
The Review doesn't pertain to Overall location, but my experience with U-Haul. 2 weeks prior to my move I had a location closer to my house, then I was told I needed to go to brownsburg, and then there was a closer location to where I was moving but equipment was vandalized. I then had to go back to brownsburg outta my way after driving the opposite way to get equipment that wasn't working. Upset by response, was there anything they could do for me? Nope, so cost to me was extra mileage and gas with no thought of expenditures.MATTHEW S.

set pick up time for 11:00, apparently the time the place opened. Arrived at 10:55, agent did not arrive until 11:25. Very disappointed to have to wait that long because the agent did not show up. I could understand if he was busy with other customers but to not show up on time is unacceptable. I was not the only customer waiting.Paul S.

Vehicles are parked all over this gas station with no order. Parking lot is filthy. Picking up the truck was slow and took 30 minutes. Return was a hassle, and didn't get credited for the turn in early .Adam S.

I recommend double-checking each on-line pick up for proper equipage prior to closing the shop the night before. The gas station clerk was not very useful for the 5 customers waiting until the â€œuhaul guyâ€ got there 15 minutes after scheduled opening, which was 45 mins after I was supposed to take my rental.
