This location wasnt so much a uhaul location as much as it was a title location that did some uhaul services. it was a little out of my way but had the trailer i wanted. The employee that set me up was very helpful and nice but its clear this locations focus isnt uhaul.

I got charged a after hours drop off fee, even though we returned it online. This is the location we were told to leave it at. Uhaul needs to improve their system and make it standard fee. I will be calling uhaul later and complaining. The whole system needs to be improved.

I reserved a truck for 10/10 to pick up in the Brandywine location to than receive a call the day before to tell me the truck won't be there I have to go to California Md which was an hour away. I had movers and everything waiting on me I had to pay double price for the inconvenience because of uhaul I will never ever use them again!!!

Well I was told one pick up location in the beginning and the day of it switch to two separate locations. One for the tow trailer and one 40 mi away to pick up the truck. I was not satisfied with that part of it.

I was told to look up the drop off to see what was closest and when I arrived, unloaded and went to return the equipment I had to take it to 3 different spots to before returning. Then was told I was over the mileage. Apparently something was wrong because I never went sightseeing with that rig. I would never rent or recommend UHaul again!

Spacious room to turn around and park trailer. Got charged extra fee because I dropped off my trailer after hours. This fee needs to be communicated ahead of time. If it could be avoided by online check-in that needs to be explained as well.

Both the owner, manager and two mechanics were not wearing Protective face coverings during my entire interaction with this facility. The waiting area was dirty and obviously hasn't been wiped down for a very long time. The owner was polite But U-Haul has once again been unsuccessful in my rental from a selected location. This one was by far the worst having to drive to two separate locations to finally rent the truck. U-Haul did offer a credit for my inconveniences but I felt like I had to haggle for compensation. I will most likely be looking for other companies to use in the future. Thank you for allowing me to leave a review.

Be sure to check tires for proper air one tire was very low on air had I not did a walk around n tire check possible blow out. Additionally I was quoted 40 dollars bill came to 60. Pls explain overage I bought back same day.

The person wasn't wearing a facemask. So, his claim that the truck has been clean in view of COVID was in doubt. I sprayed the truck to be sure. I shouldn't have to do it. I have an issue with the U-Hall website. It was very confusing. I created an account and entered all my information to save time as was suggested. But when I went to check out the truck, the guy said the information wasn't there. We have to enter the information once again. It was frustrating.

I had reserved a dolly but when I picked up the truck I was told they were out of them. This really made moving a challenge. Not sure why it let me reserve one if there wasn't going to be one available.

Trailer lights stopped working during my trip and I got pulled over by the police for not having working lights on the trailer. I'm thinking the connection for the lights stopped working due to the rain storm we were having, but not sure. Still got pulled over though. Trailer otherwise functioned well.

Clean the trucks before they are given to a customer. Never approach the customer outside with no mask on without introducing yourself at least. And don't charge for two days rental when extended, even though we were told there was no extra charges. Worst place ever!

Absolute worst experience with uhaul EVER. Won't use UHAUL again. Made call to complain to UHAUL cust service BEFORE this location and cust service rep wasted my time and breath. Second agent Absolutely ASSURED me I would NOT have to have my non public DL scanned into your “secure” - yeah right system. Too bad the MacAurthur locale is UHAUL. They were decent. Won't use UHAUL ever again if I can help it.

I rated as excellent because the service was great. I will say though the inside of the trailer had grease in it. The exterior was well maintained though and overall had a great experience with this location.

Online service was annoying. I requested a truck at a location fairly near to me, but then got an email stating that my rental was updated and now could be picked up in another county. Unacceptable. Online service should be more reliable.

He said that the tire indicator was not working right and he checked all tires but in Virginia we had a flat tire stuck there for over two hours thank God I got the road side assistance. The back of the vehicle was full of hay when I got it the cab stunk bad but apon return I totally disinfected the cab .one last thing was the vehicle had a governor on it which I really didn't care for made it really hard to pass other vehicles.

Highly recommend California Complete Auto Care to any future customer looking to rent from Uhaul. There opening hours are at 8am and one Gentleman came in early that morning for early pick up. Did not ask them to this was offered from there end. Then the morning of departure I had over slept & missed calls from them. When arriving was greeted with pleasure and that was every relieving.

Call customer before pick up if the vehicle requested is unavailable and needs to be changed. Inform customer at pick up departure or call if closing earlier than posted and drop off location is changed after pick up. 1st visit no issues..2nd visit sketchy.

UHaul is very expensive. The advertisement is that the rental rate is $19.95 and then you end up with a $200 billing statement. Nickel and diming every mile! But hey, I guess that's how they stay in business. ??

I was told by the office attendant that U-Haul does not give Military Discounts when in fact they do according to the corporate office. His lack of knowledge cost me $80 on my move.

Address on U-Haul web doesn't bring you to this location. The physical location is way around back and I was not able to find it right away. I tried to call ahead and no one answered. I called U-Haul customer service and shared my experience; they called two numbers at the location and no one answered either. Once I got the truck it worked well and was well maintained, but I think there are some process or location issues here.

Initial pick up was moved at the last minute. Literally received an email 59 minutes per to scheduled pickup. Called usual and they claim the left a voicemail, nope didn't happen. Since I arrived at initial pickup location, I had to backtrack to second location. The trailer was the oldest looking thing in the lot. The lights were intermittent the whole trip. The uhaul rep claimed it was grounded through the hitch and would work once the tow vehicle moved. Took lots of finagling to get them to work. Overall miserable experience!

I cannot really comment on the drop off location. We were told to drop off the rental truck by 12:30 p.m. When we arrived at the location at 11:45 a.m., the person that was there walked up to my son while he was pulling in with the rental truck and told him he was leaving for the day because all of their computer systems were down. We were instructed to leave the keys in the drop box and he got into his car and left. I did, however, explain to him that we received paperwork for one rental truck but were given an entirely different rental truck. He stated that the facility where we originally rented the truck would have to fix that on their end.

It's be great to be told ahead of time that you must bring your drivers license- I don't recall seeing that in emails or the trailer safely videos. It should also be obvious that you need to provide the ball hitch part.
