Efficient, Covid Safe location. Well maintained vehicle, friendly service. I needed to rent for a whole week, and put some miles on the transit. I am very satsified w the price, and van.

I decided to use easy contactless pick up to have a quick process when getting our truck. However we stood in line waiting while the cashier had a personal conversation and we were told they “hoped the truck was ready”. That was surprising since she was the one loaning it to us. Upon getting the truck it was dirty, front passenger seat beat didn't work and whole truck reeked of Marijuana.

Hello Peter Heck My experience is that the Manager threatened to call the Police because I asked for a one way trailer I drove from Long Beach to Soquel had a trailer scheduled I was parked at the location and he rented the trailer Right under me then said our trailer was in Gilroy So I had to drive back to Gilroy to find out this horribly nasty person running A U Haul shop I am 61 years old and I haven't been spoken to like that in ten years Please consider moving your people that shouldn't be speaking to paying customer with so much disrespect My deal with Soquel was scheduled 2 days before for a round trip trailer Soquel Uhual guy was a flake I had to bring trailer back to Gilroy as the hard to call Lady (there are other terms for what she is) threatened to call the Police I am seriously disturbed by what happened Please let me know what you are going to do about the round trip Butt hurt in Long Beach 2 sons are Fire fighters I am a yacht Captain I have never heard anything like that before Extremely rude and refused to apologise The worker helping me was embarrassed as well 562-225-7717

The 6X12 cargo trailer is VERY heavy when it comes to hitching/unhitching. Be sure the trailer is empty when performing either tasks. A car jack may be needed if you don't have sufficient strength or the hitch is stuck on the ball for some reason. Canbar Equipment people are wonderful the deal with. UHHaul is a bargain, especially if you rent in town (2-way).

There should be a big label about the height of the truck.. I was thinking about getting gas, but I wasn't sure the roof over the pumps was high enough.

Tori the lender has terrible customer service who gave me a lot of attitude and was very rude to me during the whole check in process. Way to go UHaul for making that a terrible experience because of 3rd party lender

The truck was muddy and smelled like marijuana. Everyone helping me move kept saying the same thing. It was so bad, every time we'd open the truck up, we'd get a strong hit in the face from the smell. My clothes I had been wearing smelled like weed the next morning, so I had to throw them away.

They are charging 25 for cleanning and the truck was dirty when I got it. It is a bad idea that they check the truck later and send you your final invoice because they are charging me for nothing

Not this locations fault, but we were not alerted to the location switch for our U-Haul pickup. We actually had to change cities to pick up the vehicle.

Staff seems to be doing there best but do not understand anything about customer service. The truck was a POS and if I didn't need it for a local run would not have accepted it. My reservation was not met and I had to settle for whatever they had available making my trip more complicated. Also half of the supplies I requested on the reservation where not met. Sad times to see businesses like this going away as I would prefer to give my money to the smaller operations rather than big box. Also returning the truck was a nightmare as they don't have a freaking drop box for keys?!?!? Had to go out of my way to drop the keys back during next day business hours and sure enough some poor SOB was waiting on the keys to the truck that was sitting there since the day prior. One pro I feel the price was fare considering the situation.

How do I dislike thee? Let me count the ways you let me down. 1. The equipment I requested, 12 pads and 2 furniture dollys were not available and someone added 2 utility dolly carts to the order and I was charged for EVERYTHING. 2. The AC did not work and it was a 90°+ day and made the driving very unpleasant. 3. The radio was non-functional except as a clock. So I got to listen to the wheezing and puffing engine right in front of me. 4. The key return box was vandalized and the ONLY solution offered by customer service is for ME to drive back to Uhaul and return the key before 8:00 AM tomorrow morning. Now I have to make another trip to Uhaul and take time off work. This was a horrible experience with poor equipment and a severe lack of customer service.

Overall good experience would utilize again. Have used the service twice from this location. Only comment would be to extend the mileage rate for local travel ie. 150 miles or less. Overall thank you for a good experience.

the dealership is great, I've used them several times before and always very satisfied. The mobile phone application to pickup the truck was slow and frustrating; I couldn't tell if it was processing causing anxiety. When I tried to call for help, it was again slow and frustrating and I couldn't tell if someone was going to respond or not.

The location was great. U-Haul Corporate was AWFUL. Waited an hour and a half because point of sale system could not complete the transaction. Tried Mobile app. Tried calling the U-Haul 800 number (and the person HUNG UP ON ME after I was on hold for 20 minutes). Tried manual charge card authorization but the point of sale system was missing a digit in the merchant ID, so caused confusion. Couldn't do a manual charge. Couldn't accept cash. Saw a line of people with rentals and plans for the day turned away because rentals could not be completed. My Move activities started 2 hours late due to this nonsense (and cost me a lot more money as a result as I had to feed my helpers twice and people had to wait). U-Haul's scheduling (was not able to book a covered trailer), and point of sale systems are awful and need to be improved. Their web app is great when it works. But why could no credit card transactions (the only kind U-Haul accepts) be completed on Saturday May 30?

The only issues was with corporate setting up my one way trip with a in town truck. Which meant that I had to drive an extra 4 hours and pay an extra 200 dollars.
