this man has no customer service skills at all. i dont know how he has such a large location. he had us unhook our trailer ourselves and then made ruse comment when we didnt put it where he wanted it to go. then sd "well im not gonna move it"
eli lMy reservation was cancelled when I missed my pick up time. To then rebook my rental it cost me double. So, instead of the already overpriced $350, I was forced to rebook for $620. I will never rent from u-haul again and I will definitely never rent from Canyon Lake Storage and Rental. Also, before we left the next day we ask the owner if he could switch the trailer to our other truck. He lied and said he needed a jack and that his people weren't there to do it. When we arrived in Lubbock at the other u-haul drop off site there was no jack needed. The owner of Canyon Lake Storage and Rental is a full on crook and liar. STAY AWAY!!!

richard sIf you are using cellphone after hours pickup you cannot use "Spring Branch" for the city the app does not like it. After calling corporate u-haul customer service we tried using a different address that was not "Spring Branch " and it worked. I had to use the address location where I was pickup up in Canyon-Lake. Plus if requesting an Uber to leave have you cellphone charged because i had to request an Uber 10+ times to finally get a driver.

CHRISTOPHER CThe windshield weather stripping was held on by orange tape and came loose during the drive. We had to secure against the door jamb with the passenger window. Not ideal during an 875 mile drive.

Jose RThe requested equipment I needed was not available at my preferred location, so online directed me to "the next closest location" for that specific equipment, and I booked it there. However, the day before my scheduled pickup, I received a call saying the requested equipment was NOT available at that location either after all. I was offered a totally different trailer... at that point I was super limited on other rental options, so I agreed. Uhaul DID allow me the same lower rental rate on the alternative equipment that I was goiing to pay for the original, so that was nice. But, why say something isn't available at one location, but IS available at another, then allow it to be reserved, just to have the same issue?... 🤔

Ralph WLarge lot with plenty of room to turn around and drop the trailer off. No issues, dropped it off and left.
Andrew L40 miles out of Canyon Lake and the engine light came on. The overdrive did not work properly. I could see the gas needle moving down while driving this truck. I spent $700.00 to get to my destination. I tried speaking to the drop off location about the engine light and all the gas it took to get me to my destination and they blew me off and said I had to speak to the place where I picked it up at.
