When I turned the truck in I was told I had to pay for another whole day. I stated to the gentleman that I didn't have to turn the truck in until 5pm and he said no you will have to pay for a whole day. So I called customer service while I was there and he told me just to leave and charger my charge without my permission for something I couldn't had to pay for.

I arrived at my preferred W-S location (Select Storage) at 8:30 and was told to drop off at another loc (Cash Pawn). When I found this place at ~9am - my turn in deadline, was told he was not open - a lie - , return at 10:30. Spoke fractured chinese/American, not a nice person. At 10:30 I returned. He did the checkin on his cellphone. I could not explain the delay was U-Haul's fault. He charged me 1 day plus extra mileage. I am totally dissatisfied. The checkout and checkin personnel were total losers. Screwed up on both ends. The truck itself was fine. Oh and my wife was hassled/freightened to death by a vagrant tramp, while she was waiting for me in the Pawn parking lot while I was checkingin. The chinese dude did nothing even though he was big and packed heat... He would not talk to me and gave me no receipt for the turned in truck. Get it online he said. I had no internet access for a week. I an very pissed at this unacceptable service.

He to steal money from me for gas I didn't use ad offering me inssurance and all I did was go arund the corner litterally. I would not recommend cash pawn t 901 petrscreek pkwy in winston-Salem at all they are a bunch of theives who tke advantage of women especially black women the oriental guy isna raciest nd tried to play me for a fool by trying to steal money from me.

This was a closed pawn shop with Steel security doors located in a seedy part of town.

Despite doing all I could online, I had to answer all the same questions for the staff onsite. This took way too long. Also, the employee kept getting interrupted with questions from his coworker about items being pawned (“What's this worth? Do we accept these? Where's the ——?”) If there is an actual U-Haul facility nearby instead of a satellite, use it! They were much more professional at drop-off, and I felt like a customer, not a nuisance (like I did at pickup).

What a run around! Made on line reservation for a van. Next morning got message, no van or small truck at location. Changed p/u location for small truck. Location a dump in bad neighborhood. Computer down, can't process rental. Switch to third location, for van. Needed pu at 930. Can't get van until 1030. Finally on road at 11am. Van is filthy. Not happy. $19.95 a day turns into $123 with all add ons. Uhaul customer service, very good, but will hesitate using UHaul in the future.

The truck had been moved from one side of the building to where it sat, according to the attendant, and the interior light and parking lights had been left on so the battery was completly dead. Not a sound was heard when you turned the key. The attendant was notified and if the attendant had not had a jumper battery it would have been a further delayed day because Uhaul had already changed our location from the more convenient one we booked with. It was the only truck availble for a one-way. The Peter's Creek location did not open until later than we needed. Also, the Peters Creek location did not have a bathroom facility open to the public and my wife needed to use it. The location felt unsafe as there was a vagrant that walked through the parking lot and even one asleep on the ground on one side of the building.

I will be filing a police report. I will be contacting an attorney. I will be contacting local and national news not to mention social media exposure. I was verbally assaulted, physically accosted and I fear for my life. At 56 years old, I never even believed it to be possible to experience the abuse I took yesterday when returning my rental. I was physically hurt due to staff not helping. I should have called 911 but didn't because I fear the guy was a gang member do to the matter of which he had NO regard for the results of his actions. And now he has my new address I just moved to. They never counted the 36 furniture pad that were in the truck. They tried to charge me for mileage I didn't drive and said they were going to double charge me because I wouldn't drive the truck up the hill, park it and disconnect the trailer even after I delivered the truck to their property 5 hours early. It is an abomination this place is in business much less a Uhaul representative! Feel free to contact me for details. Make sure you have the store tapes on 2/21/2020 between 12:00 noon and 1:15pm because they will be summitted as evidence in court.

They were rude. They didnt have their system up. We ordered an appliance dolly and there wasn't one onsite so we had to travel to another location out of the way to get one. We did NOT order pads but they argued to charge us for 2 sets and after all of this aggravation, they double charged the account. I work overnight and I don't have the time or energy but I need an immediate refund over the over charged fees! We use uhaul constantly, this was the worse experience ever!!!

When I called to say I would be picking up the truck a little later than planned, the lady said she had no 20' trucks and no reservation. She told me to call the U-Haul number. That person got the lady on the line and then she acted like it was me who misunderstood but said the truck is there. Then she hung up without even saying goodbye.

After Uhaul's "Customer Service" department messed things up several times, the people at this location tried their best to make things right. UHaull gets an "F". This location get an "A"
