However Uhual Brampton called and tried to do a bait and switch.. stating that there were NO trucks in barrie and I would need to pick up at location 30 minutes and 28 km out of town! My media post went viral and people stated photo documenting how many trucks in the size In ordered sitting in the lots in Barrie! Stop you shady practices! Trying to add 54.00 extra to my bill Shame on you! The cash stop owner was very nice and pleasant!

LEONARD SExtremely disappointed with how this booking was handled. I’ve rented multiple times from uhual this year but this will be my last. The 26” truck was filthy dirty that I had to sweep and mop twice myself before moving my furniture in it. Mechanically it was in poor condition as well, I didn’t feel safe driving it. On top of this was given the truck empty. When on contract it showed 1/8 full… I returned truck 3/8 still so next person didn’t have to deal with empty tank. Lastly I didn’t ask or sign for protection but was still charged Overall horrible experience.

Jennifer PAgain, my drop off location got changed Sent us to a location that was closed -spent extra gas .extra kilometres and time of people that was helping me. This was the worst move. I’ve ever experienced with you all and trust me. I have used U-Haul many times in the city of Brampton and Mississauga. My first time for this area and the experience I can honestly say was horrible Have another move August 29 and I’m praying that it will be much better experience because I rely on other people and this is insane So yes, you really need to get this straight note because we don’t have time when you’re moving dealing with these issues Thank you

Trevor MYour app needs to be fixed for easier use. I planned for mobile pickup but could not properly access my account/order. When i got to the building at 9.am for my pickup I could not access anything in app to complete my mobile pickup, just kept saying to call assistance which was an hour way, the same time if not more than doing it in person so I just explained to the cashier at 10 am when they opened to complete the pickup to which I had to wait almost another hour because of servers being down. When he gave me the keys in the morning I could not properly pickup my vehicle and take the proper before I leave pictures, I had to take and keep them on my device. 2 hours of my move gone and wasted. when I finally finished up everything I noticed I had got a call and tried calling back. i finally got ahold of a provider after some time and she addressed that my contract hasn’t been completed and needed to redo my pickup through the app even though my truck was heading to be dropped off that very moment. When i got back to the shop the links and the app were STILL not working for pickup or drop off like instructed by the provider over the phone. I proceeded to call another provider through uhaul and he addressed the issue. i got verification of my drop off through the cashier in the store and went on my way. Needless to say I will not be using the app for reservations or pickups AT ALL in the future. Absolutely terrible.

IBUKUN OHorrible customer service. He called me a liar, told me I was wrong, misunderstood and disrespectful. I had previously came in, in person to reserve a 15’ Uhaul that would take me from Barrie to Feversham to Peterborough. I asked for an all inclusive quote (gas not incl). There were 2 staff members there. The one staff member pulled up his phone and calculated my entire route in kms to ensure I would be quoted the accurate price, for the kms I needed. (I needed at least 288 kms). When I picked up my Uhaul, the price no longer indicated my entire route and he told me my Uhaul only covered from Barrie to Peterborough, which gave me 190 kms. I did not ask for a quote from Barrie to Peterborough. I asked for a quote from Barrie to Feversham to Peterborough (there is a HUGE difference and I explained this to him SEVERAL times) I paid $392.11, which was my original quote. After I drop off my Uhaul, they decided to charge my credit card, 10 days later, $154.81 for over using my kms. I am a pro mover by now lol. I rent Uhauls all the time. I will never step foot in this location ever again. I am disgusted with the man who was so rude to me and lacked empathy. I just lost the place I was living in due to a flood and he treated me like a piece of shit during a very vulnerable time for me. I even asked him to view the cameras and he refused. I also have an extreme anxiety disorder and it’s because of people like this, that make me not want to be out in the world. I have worked in customer service for a very long time and I have never behaved this way. I’m glad I had the courage to deal with his despicable behaviour.
