Arrived to pick up and was greeted at the door by a hotel resident and he sexually harassed me verbally. Spoke to the agent and when finishing out the process he tells me the trailer is “over there” and to go hook it up. I told him I needed them to do it because I’m on a 10lb weight restriction from shoulder surgery. He got annoyed with me for asking. He called someone else to come hook it up. In the meantime, I asked if the appliance dolly was in the truck, he said he was grabbing it now. Another person came in for pickup during this process and he waited for mine to be done. While the trailer was being connected, the man behind me was wheeling out a dolly. Went back in once I was at the truck and discovered my dolly still wasn’t in it. I was then informed that they didn’t have any more and he refused to help me locate another one in town. He was very rude about it. I called in and spoke to the traffic manager only to find out the last dolly that was in town was given to the person behind me in line. The traffic manager offered for me to purchase one and be reimbursed. I’ve sent the email with the receipt and was told she would respond right away acknowledging the email and letting me know it’s being processed. I still haven’t heard anything back on it. Today, I went to return the equipment to the place designated on the rental agreement and she turned us away saying they wouldn’t take it. Drive to another location and they turned us away again. Got to a 3rd location and they would take it but their lot was so incredibly cluttered by them not parking trucks and trailers probably that we couldn’t even get into the lot and had to park across the street and wait. We waited for another 20 minutes before we could get into the lot. The gas gauge was exactly where it was supposed to be before we had to drive all over town trying to find someone to return it. I want a refund on the gas charge that was added because none of this was my fault. The trailer that I had was requested by uhaul that I bring it to my destination and I was supposed to get a receipt upon dropping it off showing the $100 refund to my card for doing this. That didn’t happen either. The truck that I was given needs work also and made me wonder if it would even make it. It’s has a very rough idle and would idle down and choking out but it luckily recovered each time. I am so disgusted with uhaul for this entire experience.
RACHAEL J"Marcus" and the unknown female "employee" were very unprofessional and rude during the drop-off process. "Marcus" was instructed to let me witness him placing the key in the lockbox. When asked for proof of employment I was told to get off the property. Very sketchy return center.
Richard CNice gentleman hook up the trailer and all I didn't have to do anything. That's was nice!
Marcus WEasy access and you can drive a trailer all the way around so you don't have to back.
Marcus WI rented a U-Haul truck, and it immediately broke down. I was provided a replacement truck, but unfortunately that vehicle also experienced mechanical issues. As a result, I had to rely on friends and family and use their personal trucks to complete my move. Fortunately, this was only a local move. Had it been a long-distance trip or one with a strict deadline, I likely would not have made it on time. I strongly recommend that your fleet undergo more thorough inspections and servicing before being rented to customers. Otherwise, this same situation is likely to happen to someone else. In addition to the inconvenience, your equipment cost me valuable time. I consider my personal time to be extremely important, and the delays and stress caused by two faulty rental trucks were unacceptable. I hope you will review this matter and consider appropriate action to improve the reliability of your fleet and address the inconvenience I experienced.
Jon KDid end up with a 26 ft truck because the previous renter of the 20ft truck hadn't returned it.
Kenneth BI have time stamped photos of dropping the trailer off on 4/23/2026 a day earlier than contractually required and this U-Haul location said I dropped it off on 04/25/2026 and charged me for a extra day. They are crooks and fraudsters and if this is how U-Haul corporate does business then after several years of being a loyal U-Haul customer this will be my last rental from this company.
Gene HA/ C front end needs work.
Anthony GThis was the most dangerous environment that I have ever been in. I left 3 times because I thought I would be jumped by gang members and the 4th time I came back with my adult sons because I had to get a trailer to pick up my new 4 wheeler so I finally got it rented and 2 hours later I brought it back and there was 9 cop cars there because people had just been murdered. It is a location that only has dangerous gang members hanging out there at that hotel. It is their headquarters. It should be closed down immediately.
LESTER RHave more knowledgeable people working for you.
Marsha CThey were on top of it. Friendly, helpful and professional.
Michelle MHave more inventory to be available to rent
MARCUS WKnowing how to rent the equipment would be good. Not over charging by almost double would be good. They were nice but bad at there job.
SCOTT CVery helpful costumer service, got us in and out fast. Best experience for our first time renting. Will be going back again and telling others to try them out as well.
SPIRIT OThe crew here went the extra mile to help me with my rental needs. Their vase experience and knowledge of the car port helped me extremely and their tips got me through my long haul to Ohio. I would definitely recommend this team of people.
ANA HI was charged $63 for a 2 wheel car dolly, for 3 hours local. It didn't have a 2 wheel car dolly in the system so I was charged 300% of the cost of a full sized Uhaul truck.?.? Yes, no, I not only not return, but warn anyone who asks to use another agency. The one rep up front was extremely kind and sorrowful for the price. He came out and checked the equipment, knew the operation well, and he's worth his own store.
LEONARD LVery professional and quick easy experience.
Rodney TRetrain the two young con men operating the location. Their verbal teamwork seemed an attempt to convince me that I had purchased additional insurance and had me on the verge of walking out. Plus, I was under the impression that a rental vehicle would be full of fuel at pickup and then I would fill the tank upon return. Half of that is true. I put just over 16 gallons in the truck after picking it up and another 25+ gallons before delivery. At a total cost of $102.78,.with a final rental cost of $926.13. I managed to get to my destination early and after deciding to pick up the unit early I was charged an extra day and told that regardless of when I turned it in, I would not be able to take that doy off of the back end. That is not the way this should work. Rest assured that I will forget the name U-Haul.
GARY MMy experience went well
DANIEL TThe gentleman that helped us was very kind and helpful. We had a connection issue but he helped us figure it out and got us what we needed fast and sufficiently.
