Truck started at 1/4 tank of gas. Would be nice to start with at least a half tank.

Joseph YoungNo dropoff lane or markings. Employee came out and firmly told me where to park. Told me to put keys on his desk that he would not be inside... Did not inspect truck, or check fuel level. A few hours later I get a receipt stating fuel charge added, which I disagree with. It was 1/4 plus a needle with when I picked up AND dropped off.

Samuel CampbellI rented the U-Haul and drove a total of less than 30 miles. I returned the U-Haul within three hours and I was charged a $10 cleaning fee. The truck was sent back the exact same as I received it. This is a total rip off.

Stephen SizerTruck was very dirty, spills and dog hair everywhere. The low tire pressure light l was on, when I said something the clerk replied oh that is broken. When turning the truck of receipt or check in done. Only asked if there were any mechanical programs. The clerk just went to next customer I felt very uncomfortable leaving. Not sure what the final bill would be, under mileage, not much & if I was going to be charged for anything additional on the vehicle. Have rented from other facilities always a better experience.

Zahara YeroWe had an issue with the truck starting once we got to our location to pick up our items. I think before anything is rented out they need to make sure the trucks starts, the key wouldn’t turn, and once the key did turn, it took a while before the truck started up again.

Michael OCallaghanThis last rental was the only time I’ve had a vehicle that was not clean in the passenger cabin. There was dried sticky liquid in the cup holders, trash in the glove box and even a roach!!!! I realize these vehicles are rented often and travel outside state lines, but this was the worst experience I’ve had with a u-Haul vehicle. For clarity, the Citadel location has HELPFUL, efficient, an and overall EXCELLENT service. I will continue to use this location for my rental needs for my business!

Bhavesh BhaktaAfter booking the rental online, the transaction at the location was fast, friendly, and easy. While the van had not been cleaned, the fact that i could note it via the online check out, made it bearable and insured that I would not be held accountable for that. The van ran a little rough and can use a maintenance check. Also, as I noted prior to and after returning the rental, there is significant dent damage on the roof of the van - though it did not affect my experience.
RAYMON YOUNGTruck kept dropping out of gear. Sometimes into tow mode. While merging onto the highway it completely dropped out of gear and I coasted to a stop on the highway shoulder. Restarted and it stayed in gear. Check engine light was on.

Menachem MajeskiThe van have issue on the ignition key, it is a struggle to start the van. The aircon does not work.. Everything is excellent David was a big help, . The u Haul System was down it took me almost an hour to get the equipment and the issue of the ignition keys to start the truck.
Claro ReyesI was not told that if I did not break the seal on the utility dolly in the truck that I would be charged for it. I did ask for it but the gentleman I spoke to said do not break the seal if I did not need it, but I was still charged.
ANGEL PAGANI had to pay to keep the rental longer, because I wasn't given 24 hours access to my storage unit. Then the U-Haul wasn't in the best condition. The power steering was awful, the check engine light came on and the car wouldn't start, and they key kept getting stuck in the ignition. I didn't have time to refill the gas tank which was only at half a tank and was charged $15 for the quarter tank of gas I used. Definitely a rip off.
