We have a very great experience renting a storage unit from Clarkston Budget Storage. They were very easy to work with and accommodating. If we ever needed to rent a storage unit again, we would definitely go back!

The location was easy to pick up from. Everything was ready to go. The day of drop off was really nice. My daughters in college and had an online class we need to hurry and get back to. The lady in the office was able to inspect it and bill us quickly. It's a very friendly and convenient place.

The location proved a bit hard to find just because there are a lot of driveways in the vicinity and the signage wasn't highly visible. But other than that it was a good experience.

Associates here have always done a good job, with excellent communication, and service. Unfortunately, due to my experience with the Pick Up location, including unsafe conditions, I can't in good conscience use Uhaul again, regardless of this Drop Off location's professionalism.

You need to work on your EZ-Return smartphone app. I dropped off the equipment after hours and could not use the system for checking the equipment in because it couldn't 'locate' me and wouldn't advance. However, the next morning I received a receipt without any additional charges.

very accommodating and helpful. They went above and beyond to make my move in and out seamless. Even stayed late to help complete a last minute truck rental. These guys are great at what they do and really care about the customers.

When reserved a truck for an in town rental over a week in advance, I setup a specific location, due to the fact that, I had a storage unit at that location which would have been the most convenient location. The next day after the reservation had been completed, received a text stating the location I reserved did not have the size truck reserved and the pickup location was switched to a different one not the reserved one to another which was over 20 minutes away. When I contacted the regional scheduling office, was told the location did not have any trucks in the size I reserved. When I questioned the person because I was just there a couple days earlier and I visually seen three. The person then changed their statement and stated they actually have four but they are all one way out of town rentals. Why wasn't it possible for one of those rentals to switch their location sense they are not charged by the mile like an in town rental. When I inquired about the mileage I already had planned in the reservation, the person stated an additional allowance would be given and I would just have to talk to the location where I picked up the unit. After dropping off the unit, I was told sense I reserved it for 25 miles but actually drove 60 I would have to pay for the additional mileage. When questioned about what I was told by the regional scheduling office, it was stated there was nothing they could do I would have to pay the additional mileage. After stating the information I was told by their regional scheduling office once again the individual stated wasn't this location your preferred location.I replied no and another location was because that is the location I have a storage unit at. He stated when you do an in town rental you have to pay for each mile. I once again stated what I was told when I was setting up the reservation about getting an allowance he said all he could do was reduce the cost per mile to 79 cents instead of the normal rate. I stated "I will never rent from Uhual again if that is the best you can do." He simply replied, "sorry you are not happy." To which I replied why would I be when was told an allowance would be given. Also an additional complaint, is the location I was deferred to did not have an appliance dolly I reserved. I was however, able to get one from the preferred location fortunately so that isn't not an issue but it would have been if that location would have not had one. So I had to return the appliance dolly to one location and then drive to another location to return the rental truck. Wasting more of my time if the units would not have been at the same preferred location in which I originally requested. So at this point in time I, will tell anybody and everybody about the unsatisfactory service I received and would tell them to most definitely not to rent from Uhual due to the very poor experience I just had.

Be sure to check with your insurance company about trailer coverage. I presumed I had it as I have rental car coverage. This does not include rental trailer coverage. I had to redo my contract to include it.

Nothing. Literally - do nothing. Don't try to fix something that isn't broken. I've used U-Haul services from dealers all across the country with varying results. This rental outlet is one of the best I've used. Great order intake, equipment was ready, great assist getting the trailer connected and also during the return. If you try to make things "better" here, you'll only screw it up. Please, leave well enough alone. Thank You.

Was not informed when I recieved a courtesy call about a drop off time and the procedures to do it. However, was not informed then there are specific access times for the storage facility (6-10pm). If you are trying to get access after those times it is not available. Would have been helpful to know before tried to gain access at site after those hours.

The trailer tie down rings were missing on the left side of the trailer making securing heavy items in the front of the trailer impossible. That's pretty crucial. It was clean, the tires inflated, and the lights worked, but the tie down rings need to be replaced.

Was told rental would be 2 days and upon drop-off that we would not be charged for an additional day. We were charged for an additional day and when I called they said that because we picked it up before 2pm that it was actually 3 days. We were not explained this upon pick-up and were told it was 2 days upon drop-off.

Couldn't get the mobile drop off to work. Had to call the 1-800 number and he wasn't able to close. Had to wait until the location was open in the morning (which was after my scheduled drop off time). Fortunately, I did not get charged extra. The truck was actually dropped off 12 hours earlier than I had to drop it off.
