The previous user left the truck dirty. The clarkston location tried to clean it but when I pulled out the ladder it was very dirty and made a muddy mess when unloading. This was NOT the fault of the clarkston location.

I am a repeat customer. Each time I store office supplies and computers, I do so for years at a time. My last stay ran from 2018-2025. I've used both climate controlled and outdoor units, each with 24hr access so I was never inconvenienced. Now that I have a motion picture studio, I plan to return in the future to store larger set pieces and bulky lighting equipment. Being so close to I-75 makes it easy to get in and get out. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and fairly steady and consistent. I've dealt with Karen for many years and appreciated all the solutions she's provided. Well, getting stuck in the snow in a 2WD truck while in the middle of a snow storm trying to tow a trailer doesn’t matter! The length of time I was going to wait for a tow(assist) was going to be $450 service call.

The gas tank was on empty and we picked up before the office was open. I use U-Haul frequently and this is the first time I’ve ever picked up with only 20 miles to empty. Very disappointing way to start the day.

Return location was closed and very hard to find (after hours drop off). Truck was fine but the U-Haul app is useless. It is very cumbersome and I couldn’t manage the pick up process or the drop off process. Dropping off after dark, in the cold was frustrating and wouldn’t work so had to call in. The call agent was very helpful. I hope the app can be fixed by next time.

First time using this location. Would definitely recommend and use this site, again. They are very well organized and friendly. No hassles at all and I was on my way in about 15 minutes (I had done the "check-in" process the day before.) I've rented more from U-Haul in the past 5 years than my entire life from any rental company and, in general, they really have their act together. They do blast you with texts and emails after you make a reservation, so keep an eye out for those and your experience will be much better. Also, ALWAYS read the information they send you even if you've rented the equipment before... to refresh your memory. Thank you, for making my moving experience much better!

Great staff. Always helpful. Rather cluttered with all of the the Uhaul vehicles parked on premisis. Access was not blocked, just inconvenient. Would be nice to have electrical plug for plugging in light or battery charger. Very convenient location for us.

The gas gauge was marked at 3/4 full however it was only 1/2 full. Now I am getting charged $57.95 for fuel that I didn’t use.

The Uhaul truck itself had terrible front end alignment and I had to drive it for 900 miles with the steering wheel at a 35 degree angle to the left! Plus there was WAY too much play in the steering wheel... meaning instead of being able to hold the steering wheel straight to go straight, I had to constantly adjust to keep it straight. Get the alignment fixed!!!!!

The staff is great and super helpful, really helped accomodate during moves which made it less stressful when I was under time constraints. There were issues with elevator to access upper floors and the wheeled carts. I don't go there often, so the fact that I had issues a few times makes me wonder how often the problems were happening.

I had the storage unit that was indoors and temperature controlled. I had my things in there for five years before I moved and everything was in great shape when I moved out. I would definitely recommend!

I had items in storage there for over 7 years, and over that time, the facility, which was excellent to begin with, only improved. Facilities are clean and well lit. Prices were reasonable compared to other facilities, and did not increase unnecessarily. Office people are helpful and flexible (within reason). And most importantly, vermin were kept out of my outdoor unit, keeping my belongings safe. I highly recommend Clarkston Budget Storage.

This is one of few 5-star business ratings I have ever seen. But-there is little to expect more from. It met or exceeded all of our expectations in terms of what we felt this service should provide. It wasn't cheap, but fair. Communication was great so we knew what was going on at all times and they reached over backwards to make sure we were taken care of.

You should not be charged for a full month if you move out of the storage facility in the middle of the month. The unit is quite costly we would have had $32.40 due us if you pro rated, as you should.

Basically had an easy customer. One point threatened to charge late fee because the check I had written had wrong. Date. Wanted to charge fee Had my email didn't bother to notify me Just sent me a bill saying I didn't pay. Really. I was turned off from that moment on. U had a customer paid on time and wasn't a hassle and u pulled that. That was the end Recommendation get a less new manager
