I originally set up to use your online self service but the representative- lakita- online was not helpful at all. She was slow and did not tell me how to submit the necessary paperwork to complete my rental. I went inside and the people at the desk were friendly and helpful. I was able to complete my rental very easily once I went inside.

It's not even the location it's the truck itself. Battery died when going into a store, can't speak to any live agent put a claim on line and nothing. Had to have someone with a bigger engine jump start us just d see o we can bring the truck back on time so we wouldn't be charged extra. Spent $247 plus $30.00 in gas for such a disappointed experience.

The reason for my review/rating relates to the experience we had BEFORE and during the pick-up process. I had rented a uhaul through a location. I received absolutely NO notification that the pick-up location had been changed from my chosen location until I received a confirmation phone call the day before our scheduled pick-up. While I understand certain size trucks are hard to come by, it was terrible customer service to not notify the customer. I arranged with the company to take advantage of their 24/7 pick-up to come after hours. I was told "that some people have trouble with 24/7, but it should work for you." With the location change we had little choice but to pick-up after hours. We arrived and attempted to pick-up and the time was set to the next morning which was very different than the discussion I had with the representative on the phone. We called a posted phone number and were able to get it switched so we could pick-up, but this entire pick-up process took 30-40 minutes due to the mix-up. While the actual U-haul was clean and made our move much easier, the process leading up to and at pick-up left much to be desired.

NONE of the following comments have to do with Cocalico Self Storage. They were EXEMPLARY!!!!! These comments have to do with the fiasco I had to go through trying to register this rental online. Logging in was simple enough. BUT, when I tried to re-enter the site, it NEVER recognized my password and wouldn't allow me back in. So, I changed my password and when I went back in, it told me that I had NO rental agreements. I called Uhaul, and the call was finally answered by someone named Ben. He needs to improve his people skills. As I tried to explain to him my predicament, he told me the correct way to log in. As I tried to explain to him that it didn't recognize my password, he repeated the same procedure. I tried to stop him and he got a little snippy with me and said (in a demeaning tone) that I should let him finish and I again tried to tell him that his way wasn't working and that he had an attitude. We then went to another agent. Still couldn't log on. Your Cocalico Self Storage went over and above and the owners came in during closed business hours to register my rental. Again, they were fantastic. As for Uhaul.com, you've got a lot of work to do!

The online pickup didn't work. The website just kept saying couldn't verify location, please make sure location services are allowed on the app your using. I confirmed that the location services were permitted.....and it just kept saying the same thing over and over again. The Gentlement who helped me at the location was great. The vehicle was clean, but the steering wheel was off center and it pulled hard to the right with and without cargo. Probably could have used an alignment but other than that i have no complaints. Quick and easy.

The LOCATION was great, however *YOUR* no contact check our check in service is GARBAGE. I was on hold with your support for 32 minutes because your website was not working properly. I had to call my roommate to bring me a damn laptop so I could check the truck back in so not to incur any of your shitty fees. We tried 3 browsers from my phone and could not get location to work despite all phone permissions being correct. So we tried a different phone. Same thing. Then we tried a tablet. Finally got location to work, but when trying to use camera from your website it was just black every time. Camera worked fine otherwise and we could save to camera roll but not upload. Just black. Called support and was on hold for over a half hour before we called a roommate to bring me a laptop and I tethered internet and got it to work. I was so pissed off I will absolutely never use uhaul ever again.

Main concern is that the speedometer in this truck was off (under) by 30MPH. The truck said that we were doing 30 MPH when we were actually doing 60 MPH.

I was told location open at 7am and I had a 8 am pick appointment. When I got there the sign indicated that they opened at 9:30 am. Called the emergency number on the door and was told that I had to self check out on app which took 45 minutes to complete and down load. Then they wanted a lease agreement or passport which both were in Florida and I was in PA. Bottom line was a difficult unexpected checkout procedure and I was late to my next location because of check out. Also got 20 free miles due to pickup location distance from desired pickup location and did not see it on the final bill

Did have some confusion when dropping off because the vehicle needed inspection and also the gas level and mileage had not been corrected so it required a call to UHaul corporate and took a fairly long time.

It took over 20 minutes to check in online, then the rental said it was due back at 1:30 when we reserved it for all day. I had to call them and have the rental agreement updated (I will say, the employee I spoke to was very polite). But it's something stressful to deal with on moving day!

i had not booked ahead on a busy mothers day weekend,nothing was available from Leola,Ephrata(kwikstore and Rat Ray and Randys) and Mr,Burkholder snr offered me a 26ft truck for the price of a 15ft which i wanted.Great attitude,friendly atmosphere even under pressure of non stop phone calls, rental storage payments,and walk in customers !......the man behind the counter,and on the phone,and chatting with a smile and on computer,still smiled and remained calm and collective!! Wow.....Amazingly cool! I was simply impressed beyond measure!
