I saw something after my rental about a $50 reservation guarantee. Unfortunately the location did not have the size truck I requested. The associate was very nice and helpful but getting the larger truck put us at a disadvantage. The apartment we were moving from had limited space and the larger truck made the move difficult. Would like to know if I am entitled to the $50 from the guaranteeANGELA G.
The Uhaul was a mess when I picked it up. It struggled the whole ride sounded like transmission issue on 2nd and 3rd gear. The receptionist who was there to take customers didn't show up for 30 minutes, and was not very customer service oriented or professional at all. Also, charged for gas even though I filled it to the point indicated on the sheet.ROBERT G.

No pads even though orders - very difficult to get them and had to visit other location where I was told they were holding pads but they had no knowledge and did not want to give me any - was told they would be complimentary due to inconvenience but I was charged anyways - that hassle took about 2 hoursDAVIS C.

I paid for a dolly and when I got to the property to load my furniture (20 minutes away), there was no dolly. Spent 20 minutes on hold waiting for a rep, who stated we had to go back to the facility and get a dolly. I was still charged for the dolly even though it was supposed to be subtracted from my bill. They did not offer to cover the gas to go back to facility and the facility was closed. So customer service was useless to reconciling the mistake. I would not recommend doing the 24/7 share program.Rebecca B.

The truck was filthy, inside had a gas station bag with food under the seat, empty water bottles behind the seat, face masks all under the seats, spilled drink marks down the center console, dirt all gross nasty inside the cup holders, I open the truck rear & there's broken hangers all over the place, dirty everywhere, and dirty socks. Would not recommend this location, the gas was even under half a tank when I received it. Worst experience I've had ever.Daejah V.

I was charged an extra $26.60 for 7.6 gallons of gas since my son Mark Sanders, who was the driver, noticed the trucks fuel was at a half of tank when he started the truck. He put $20.00 dollars of gas in the truck before returning it to bring it back to a half tank. He later noticed on the paperwork that it stated it was on 3/4th of a tank which wasn't true but he did not take a picture of the fuel gage thinking it matched the paperwork that he looked at after he turned it in. So without proof there is nothing we can do at this point but in the future if we ever rent from this location again will check paperwork with fuel gage to make sure it matches. Not at all happy with this but stuck without proof. Next time we will know to check and dispute immediately before driving away.Mark S.

Everything went well only thing they should let us as the customer know that with the option of you checking the rental in yourself it would save the customer a $20 charge if they check it in. I wasn't aware of that until after the fact, I had already dropped the key in the box found that out earlier this morning when,I seen the text for check in. Rented the truck on Friday picked it up at 2pm. Next morning when we went to open the back there was a lock on the door and we had no key to open the door. The key that was suppose to be for the back was not provided to us. We called the U-Haul number where they tried to contact the place where we picked it up. They could not help so then they suggested we call roadside. Well roadside was over 2 hour wait. Went to the storage company and they had no way of opening the back. We took the truck back we were unable to open and move anything! Very unsatisfied with the entire situation and would appreciate a full refund due to the fact we were not able to do anything with the truck.George E.

Everything, They steal money. The odometer are preset to charge you additional mileage. I went 8 miles each way and was charged 46 miles when called in about it, I was hung up on. No return phone calls . Never ever againDeirdra B.
Careful with "check in" time with billing. Charged me 2 days of service when I returned the same day as I used it. I put the keys in the lock box as instructed because I returned it that evening after they were closed. They should make 'check in' time the night before at 11:59 p.m. if the keys are in the lock box prior to the store opening the next day. Doing so would prevent this from happening again.ANDREA W.

I was charged 54miles used. The location of the place I went was 13miles one way. Round trip that would be 26miles and I live 1.8 Miles from the Ihaul location so even if I add 10 extra miles it only add up to 36miles total. No where near the 54 miles I was charged. If that is how you operate I will not be back.Clyde B.

The truck inside, while the floor was swept out, was "sticky" with dash, cup holders and seats all were not clean. The windshield wiper blades are torn and only partly visible when driving. The facility and Compass representative made positive presentations.Kevin M.

Very disappointed with Uhaul changing our reservation location less than 24 hrs before we were to pick up our truck for a big move. Also requiring us to return it to the same location that was 20 miles out of our way. I think we shouldn't have to pay for the additional miles we had to drive.Andy W.

I don't think the gas gauge was working properly. I drove 22 miles in a 10 foot truck. I put over 2 gallons of gas in the tank in a gas station across the street. When I returned the truck, I was marked as having it be 2 gallons low on gas. There is no way that could be accurate. Unfortunately, I don't have photographic proof, but I feel like I should not have been charged.Salim W.

The gas issue is a problem - the customer returns the vehicle and puts in the amount they feel is correct according to the gauge and then you rape people by adding another gallon or two stating it was not enough - it's all arbitrary and rip off.dawn M.
