In your system description of the trailer I rented add it does have a motorcycle wheel chalk already in trailer. The system kept kicking it out not realizing that particular trailer did have the motorcycle wheel chalk.

Location needs better training. They did not know hardly anything and when I returned the truck there wasnt even anyone there that new what to do. But I did do everything online which was way better

When I made my reservation I made it for Athens, OH. I called and booked. I completed everything on line. When I arrived I was told a message was sent to my cell to pick it up 40 miles from where I wanted it. I don't know the areas so I needed someone to come with me. That took 1 hour there and an hour back after I just drove 4 hours to get to Athens. Very poor communication!! Big waste of my time and my gas to get there. Very disappointed.....

I first went online to reserve a uhaul from a location closer to my home. The rep was not very friendly & stated that someone would call me that day by 6pm. I never received a call. The next day, which happened to be a holiday, I called around & found a uhaul supplier that was opened & had what I needed which was Cross Creek. They found where I had called in but the rep had entered the wrong last name. When returning the vehicle the girls working seemed a little unsure what to do. However, it was convenient being a gas station because they are open everyday & with longer hours than most other locations. If you need a uhaul, I would call around yourself & not mess with the online reservation. I give Cross Creek a 4.5 of 5. However, the uhaul online reservation would be rated a 1. It was a complete waste of time.

Uhaul attendant was untrained, and wasn't knowledgable of equipment, or stock. Had no idea what equipment was on the lot. Very slow....

This is a small store in the country. Upon arrival the clerk working at the time informed me that there was only one person that could check the truck in. She informed me that the lady that checked them in lived down the road and that she would call her. I told her that I would move the truck over to where the other trucks were and wait. I waited about 10 -15 minutes and nobody came. I went back into the store to see what was going on. The clerk told me that the lady that checks them in said to just drop the keys to the clerk and give her my contact information. I told the clerk that it would have been nice if they would have let me know. I also did not think I should have had to leave my contact information as it was in the computer when I did the rental agreement. Bottom line; More people at this location should be trained to at least know the basic information on UHaul rentals.

The U Haul rep at this location, Matt, was exceptionally accommodating. He went out of his way to get the truck I wanted and have it there. Truck was brand-new, but did smell like cigarette smoke, however. Location itself & other personnel there were not his fault...a bit dirty, unhelpful, etc. Convenient location for me, based on where I live.

To pick it had to wait over an hour. Don't know for sure if the guy was sick or what. But no one else knew how to let me pick up the truck so was late getting started moving.

Everything went fine. the people were friendly and great to deal with. The truck we rented was clean and in very nice condition. Our overall experience was great.

It is not very reassuring to get a phone call the day after you drop off a truck asking if you dropped it off yet. It would be nice if there was a follow-up call telling me they did show it then as having been dropped off.

Unfortunately I rented a truck from Athens, Oh (C&E) and got a phone call about an hour and a half prior to our move that there was not a truck for me (and my hired movers). It was very unsettling to think that after planning everything out to move, you could receive a phone call telling you that in fact you're not going to have a truck and, "unfortunately this is not UHauls fault the prior customer didn't return a truck." I was very upset to say the least. So then I was told that there was a truck in Gallipolis I could use. I said okay perfect and then was told I would have to go get it, and then return it to Gallipolis (Approximately an hour away). I told them that I would spend 4 hours total driving to and from to get the truck and return it (as well as using mileage, gas, and money spent on movers waiting) they said that they were sorry but there's nothing they could do. I asked if I picked up the truck in Gallipolis and left it in athens if Uhaul could find a way to get it back to Gallipolis for me. That was also not an option. So here I am, with my movers and all my boxes, and no truck. So I said forget it... I will figure something out. I called another store that I researched and found that they had a truck, and my movers offered to go get the truck for me so we wouldn't be delayed longer. It was in Allensville and since they were from the area they could return the truck for me. If it hadn't been for them, this move would not have happened. I realize there is only so much that can be done when a truck is unavailable, but "unfortunately it's not our fault" doesn't seem like a reasonable answer to tell a customer. Thankfully cross creek was wonderful, and so were the movers I hired. Other than that I was genuinely disappointed. I spent $164 and it was a nightmare. I would not recommend Uhaul for the simple fact that I heard multiple times "I understand you're upset, but it's not our fault." So if this is how Uhaul conducts business and then charges said customer after all the trouble and extra time/ stress... I think I will pass.

Contracted a u-box to move from Ohio to Wyoming. Brought my items to the u-box and loaded it as arranged by my contract. Employee at location had no idea how to enter the rental but did try his best. Now I am being charged for rental and towing of u-box trailer which I did not need because I rented a U-Haul truck to move my items from my house to the u-box. This has been a totally frustrating experience. Loaded u-box on 12-5-13, still have no word when I can expect it to be delivered. Unreal! As far as for the next customer, start with training your franchise employees and start letting your right hand know what your left hand is doing.

I will never rent from uhaul again. It wasn't the locations fault it was uhaul's. I made my reservation a week in advanced for them to call me the day before and tell me that the truck wasnt there. Not only that. They changed the reservation to a location 30 minutes away. Then the equipment I ordered wasn't there when I got there. I called customer services and talked to some of the rudest people I have talked to. So no, I wasn't happy and I want my money back.

It cost over $80.00 to have the truck 5 hours! We ordered/reserved 2 packs of 10 pads and your large dolley....we got none of them. The truck had less than 3/4 tank of gas and we had to put in 3/4 tank or pay 6.00 per gallon... It was expensive and disappointing. We reserved it online and then had to do 20 minutes of paperwork repeating many of the questions we had already answered. Very disappointing and expensive.

I was not pleased as I had to drive 30 miles to pick up the Uhaul. I will never rent a Uhaul again, and as I am an influential person for my university which is OSU I will never recommend Uhaul. It has poor customer service and my satisfaction was not met.

trailer was not clean and the person seemed annoyed to do the uhaul transaction as he was the 3rd person to be asked to write it up then he didn't even walk around the trailer with us just gave us the paper and said "here ya go"

When we were given the trailer, we were told we needed to get an adapter to get the lights to work. When we went to the auto parts store to get one, the entire set of wires fell off the trailer. It was 17 degrees outside and we have two small children and had no where to go. We didn't have the time to sit around and wait for assistance. As a result of no lights, we were not able to drive at night and had to stop every night on our way from Ohio to Florida. This extended out trip one night and one day so we had to pay for hotels and extra food we weren't planning on.

Slammed on a Friday night. Had to shut down one of the registers so the computer could access the file. Would recommend you budget a few extra minutes or come at non rush hour.
