Friendly helpful staff, the roll up door was heavy and a little hard to open but the unit was perfectly suitable for what I needed.

TIMOTHY K5 stars for the person at this location for getting me set up. But Uhaul Online reservations are horrible. I wanted a 5x9 utility w/ramp for about 4 hours. The location, about 5 miles from me, and another about 11 miles away, both had these available for pick up and return. But the online reservation system set my trailer pick up 31 miles away in the wrong direction to my route. The pick up location and return for what the online reservation set up would have resulted in 131 miles travel versus 57 miles. Received a call from the reservation center and that person stated that the location 31 miles away was the only one available. Not True, as confirmed by the proprietors of the two local locations. Hmmm, is it possible that customer traffic is being diverted away from the small town operations in the area?

Tayler SThey need to open when they say they open and not wait until 15 minutes before to show up. The lady lives in an apartment at the mini storage and she didn’t come in until 15 minutes before I was to rent the truck. She didn’t want to start the process until 9 am when I was scheduled to pick it up. I was there 30 minutes before to get paperwork done and check the truck . Not to leave until 9:30. It made me late.

Brent HTo start we were never notified of a location change to pick up a truck and car dolly. When we got the truck, we were informed that there was no car dolly. After speaking with uhaul we were told we had to drive 45 miles one way to get a car dolly. We were given a car dolly that had gouges in both fenders, the passenger side tail light was taped on and came off half way through our 1800 mile trip (husband was able to put a couple of screws in to hold it together) Needless to say the car dolly experience was not a good one.

Misty BSupposed to pick up my trailer at the midtown location at noon, they didn’t have a trailer due to it not being returned from the previous customer (understandable). Called them at 3:30pm only to be told the 2 6x12 trailers on premise were reserved for one way customers. I informed the employee I was one waying my trailer to Yakima WA and wasn’t sure why I wasn’t going to get one of those trailers since my reservation was before the other 2. They get me a trailer up at deer park at a location that closes at 4 and I have to do a mobile check in. I declined the insurance when I made my reservation as well as when I picked up my trailer (attaching it myself which I learned I’m not supposed to do), only to see a charge on my card for the insurance. Luckily I was able to get it reverse, however the entire experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. Better communication would be my recommendation for improvement since I had to call back only to find out the trailers there would not be for me, as well as a better process to walk me through picking up at a location that closes at 4 but leaves it’s gates open until 7 to ensure I’m abiding by all guidelines.

Michael A | Overall ExperienceOn several occasions the gate was not opened on time. Not by 5 minutes but by several hours. On the last time it happened to me it was literally two hours late to be opened. When I talked to the staff they first blamed the frost, which could be a plausible excuse if they haven’t been several hours late in July! They were rude when confronted and had the audacity to ask “what do you want me to do about it?”. Oh I don’t know how about open the gate! There should be a timer or something along with responsible people working there. There should be no excuse when the gate is supposed to be opened at 7 am and the folks who run it live on site.
