The uhaul smelled horrible. The gas gauge was at 1/4 tank rather than 1/2 tank like the rental agreement stated and the uhaul did not run very well.Joe G.

The location looked like a junk yard. Doing the return on my phone was kind of a pain. On the contract it said if I didn't do it there was a $20 convenience fee. Let's be truthful, it is an additional rental fee. I should get the $20 for doing the work for Uhaul.Erica M.

The guy working told us we could have done a round trip trailer from Denver for $35 instead of laying the $180 from Ogallala.. he still charged the $180 for the one way.... why would he even say that if it wasn't an option for us to get a better deal. Wish he would have said something when we called to confirm the day before.William B.

I was especially impressed by Brandon. Whatever else might be desired at this location is more than compensated for by the service. Brandon put actual thought, time and effort into providing the best possible outcome for our moving adventure. And, during our transaction, he was required to deal with a difficult and uncomfortable situation with another customer, which he did with grace and kindness. The local service was fine and Brandon did a great job of taking care of us. The problem was corporate or whoever likes the money. They put a SafeMove bill of $28 ( plus tax ) on our bill. When the truck was reserved I chatted on line with a UHaul rep who directed me to the place that I could mark no insurance but UHaul took it upon themselves to charge me $28 for insurance anyway. This is not good business. Then when I chatted with a rep after receiving my incorrect invoice I was given the run-around and said my complaint would be submitted to upper management and IF they approved, I might get my credit in 3 business days. This is absolute lousy business. I will contact BBB.Jim O.

The gentleman called me up and said that because I accidentally spilled some dog food he was going to charge me for the cleaning of the truck ($25 for a $6 bag of dog food). Then he said the gas was low. I'm sorry I thought it was right at the line or below. He said no it's a quarter tank below and that's going to cost you ($42 for the gas - I had been filling up for around $65 and that's highway robbery). I offered to go get the truck clean it and fill it. He said that that would using it again and would need to be another charge. I felt like he wanted to use me to get the truck full and ready to go out without any cost to him. Needlless to say it will long time before I bother with use U-Haul again.Kerry L.

The ratchets for the tie downs wouldn't work, I had to go to a auto parts store and buy straps to tie down the vehicle, Another inconvenience on top of driving 60 mi one way the opposite way from where i needed to go to pick the trailer because the u haul place in my town dosen't have car trailers.kevin H.

The signage on the road was difficult to find while driving (it's the secondary listing on the store front). Since it was not open, I was unsure where to park and a little concerned about leaving 40 gallons of gas in an unlocked tank that I was responsible for.
