It was the worst experience in my life. I will never ever deal with Uhaul again and I will tell about my experience to every person I know. On July 24, 2021 I had to pick up my truck from D&L distribution , located in Vaughn, Ontario. Reservation was done via online. When I came to pick up my truck there was no key in the box. I tried to call to several numbers for 30 minutes. No answer. Because of this irresponsible business I could not move out from my place. Moreover, next day I called to uhaul customer service and waited for 45 minutes until agent answered the phone. I requested a refund immediately. I was told to wait until manager will call me back in 3 days.Serguei C.
You can improve your website booking. The booking experience and telephone service was horrible. Here is a list of everything that went wrong: 1. Upon my initial booking for a 1 bedroom truck, when I got my confirmation email it had a cargo van booked. 2. I called in to wait almost 20 minutes just to get through to someone to correct this and confirmed the rest of the reservation details including the pickup location at Steeles and Dufferin. 3. My pickup time in the second reservation confirmation that corrected the vehicle type then had the wrong pickup time for 9pm when it should have been 9am. It was too late to call in when I realized. 4. Upon pick up, the location did not have my reservation but what able to find it was booked for another location that was close by but it was for 10am. 5. We wasted almost 1 hour trying to pickup my rental and wasted extra mileage because the location was farther from where we needed it. 6. We dropped of the vehicle around 930pm the same night and was charged and extra day. Thankfully I called and was able to rectify the extra day charge quickly directly with the location but they couldn't assist with the extra mileage and 1 hour loss. Please have someone contact me about this to discuss how this can be rectified and hopefully this can assist you with fixing issues with the booking system. Our reservation was not available at the time that was requested/agreed upon. We waited 2 additional hours to receive our truck as we had to wait for the location to open despite selecting the online check in option. This was because the location had not prepared the keys. This was incredibly frustrating and altered the trajectory of the entire day as we had elevators booked both in the building we were moving from and the building we were moving to.MONIKA B.

I rented the truck here. They didnt have the equipment in the truck when I got there, luckily they were still open. However they didnt close the back door properly and the door opened while I was driving and didnt notice and the dolly fell out. After calling them, they said they wouldn't charge me for it, but then did so anyways.yehuda G.

First, I ordered a dolly but it was not in the truck. And then the billing included an expense not only for the dolly for for a SECOND dolly, that was also not in the truck. Moreover, I was also charged for a fuel expense when I had put fuel into the tank. I am grateful that these issues were dealt with fairly quickly and that it did not get overblown.Jesse J.
