Small grocery store and the office hours did not match up with the hour that I reserved the truck for. I had to wait outside the door for 30 minutes before the store owner arrived and that was 30 minutes before the posted hours that the store was to open.Gary B.

I had to fix the ground wire to attach my wire to so I had brake lights on the trailer 6' x 12' that I rented. But the provider was great at answering all my questions and fast n friendly with getting the paperwork part done so I could get on the road. Overall great experiencemiranda P.

Truck was in major dis-repair. Transmission not shifting gears when pressing on the gas, and so had to switch to manual drive. Not the kind of reliable transportation that you want when trying to move all of your things from one place to the next! Employees at drop-off location not too concerned when we told them about the mechanical issues.Megan M.

The truck I used was terrible. The truck would die when I hit a bump. Had to stop 7 times because of this problem. 4 times on the expressway in heavy traffic. Not safe at all! The check engine light came on. Reported everything to the provider. They said they would request service on it. This was without a doubt the worst truck rental experience I've ever had!!!Levi G.

The U-Haul agent was very nice. I had never used U-Haul before so it was a little disappointing that the selection of trucks wasn't larger. I only needed to move a couch and the only truck available at the time was the 15 foot truck and it was a little overwhelming to use and drive.Terry S.

The drop off person had no knowledge of the uhaul part of the buisness but forwarded it to his coworker though for us for the next morning. Hopefully everything was as expected.. The location was very convienent to our move for sure and easy to navigate with such a large truck.Jessica M.

In the past few months, I have used U-Haul numerous times. Up until this point U-Haul has been great but when I had to go to D&L Enterprise(?) and Dang gave me an old beat up high mileage box truck. The truck was very difficult to maneuver, break lights ABS came on for much of the trip and it leaked and many of my boxes and some furniture got wet. The truck was also dirty on pick up. The movers through u-haul even told me that! The trip was torturous for an 850 mile ride. I am a single 55-year-old woman having to deal with us. I even questioned the truck I was given to drive. He gave no consideration or proper judgement. There were to be blankets included since I paid for them. The blankets were not in the truck. Dang at D&L enterprise told me â€œwhy are you giving me a hard timeâ€ when I had requested the blankets and wanted me to get them promptly before the movers came. Bottom line, there was no sense of judgement used, the truck handled poorly and I was NOT treated as a valued customer. I reserved the truck well in advance. I wanted to get the truck at a regular u-haul location. When Milford didn't have the truck I asked about Anderson Beechmont location. D&L in in a cheesy quick mart that has gambling like machines - anything to make a buck! Like I said I reserved the truck and deserved so much more. I am a loyal customer using many of uhauls services. I would think that I should be valued too. The district manger was very good and considerate. He said he could give me a $200 credit. The experience I had should never have happened. I would have given $200 more for a truck that worked properly! This event should be covered in full with what I had to go through. The credit should be far more then $200 of the $1600+ I paid for. Iam grateful that every else about uhaul has been great but not a good end result with D&L.Carolyn L.

At this time I would not recommend Uhaul to a friend. I am being charged additional fees for reasons out of my control. The drop off location was closed. I waited and finally checked on line for an answer to my situation. I chose to try the drop off with a phone. It was not an easy task for me. The vehicle keys are in the drop off slot of a business that was closed until Tuesday. No one could possible use this vehicle without keys. I would understand if the business was open and I neglected to return on time. So happy I did not wait until Tuesday as I considered. It took a lot of my day to examine on my laptop how self return works. When I finally decided to self return the app caused me much trouble. The employee on the pickup site was great. Although he had no idea why the 50 extra miles granted by Drew were not showing up on his contract. The extra miles were granted due to my signing up for a vehicle on Beechmont Ave. and then getting a call stating that there is not a vehicle available for me at Beechmont Ave. Why would your site rent me a vehicle that is not available? I was happy to get a vehicle, but caused me trouble in the fact that I was totally unfamiliar with pickup area and became lost twice. Thank goodness for the supposed extra miles. The vehicle and the pickup employee were great, but Uhaul needs to pull back this extra charge. I feel this is a very indecent thing to do to a customer who did nothing wrong. Again the business was closed and I chose to try to help Uhaul out by using a phone app. that gave me fits. Thank You!jerry L.

Really upset because I rented from a Quick Mart convenience store in Cincinnati. I discussed returning the vehicle at 9:00 pm, before the store closed. I was quoted an estimate of $75.58, but the final bill came to $134.48. In the estimate, the clerk used a MI Rate of 50.0 - the actual miles I drove was 51.4. Upon inspection of the final bill, I discovered that I was charge for TWO days, because the computer was programmed to recognize returns after 7 pm as an extra day. Neither the clerk, nor I was aware of this. Very, very upset because I was overcharged by some $58.00 ($39.95 day rate plus $14.00 insurance and 7% tax.) The clerk, Dang Pham, was unable to correct the bill and referred me to UHaul customer service. It took about 20 minutes to speak to an agent. I hated this experience and feel cheated!MATTHEW H.
