Dan was very personable and happy to help. Truck was ready upon our arrival and transaction went quickly and smoothly. Communication prior to pick up was amazing and I would definitely go back to Dan and rent equipment from him and his business.

Kista M.Do not rent any trucks that have a red engine signal displaying on dash. I pointed out the red engine light and was told do not worry about it, the truck runs fine. Note..the truck was running when I got there for pickup... I drove the truck approximately 5 miles to get furniture. Turned off engine, loaded truck which took about 2 hours. Got back into truck ...would not start, required a jump. Drove to Loves Truck stop, about 10 miles...turned off engine, would not start back up. Required a jump. Drove truck about 155 miles to home, turned off engine..would not start back up. Drove truck to U Haul to return, reported problem. Grade for this rental..F minus...

GERALD C.I stopped my rental at this location and because the operator was unavailable her allowed me to leave my trailer on his lot on a location convenient for me. That made it very easy to disconnect and pull through without having to back into a specifics spot. So it was a very fast and simple return. Furthermore, he sent me a receipt very promptly. It was easy all around and I would happily use both locations again on the future.

Kista M.This type of truck can have gas filling issues which makes filling up 35+ gallons take twice as long. Most types of pump would trigger the auto shutoff so you could only squeeze the handle about half way.

Douglas S.The location selected online was not really a pick up location and that caused a lot of confusion and extra driving around on the day of the pickup. The issue is really with the online reservation system. It should not let you select a time and location that is not valid.

We could find no U-Hauls within a 50 mile radius and were told online we would be unable to get a U-Haul for our dates. I called Dan at Dan's Place and he went above and beyond my expectations! Not only did he make sure I had a U-Haul by my move out date, but he personally drove 50+ miles away just to bring me a U-Haul to rent. That's customer service! His wife handled all of the technical paperwork and answered all of our questions putting us at ease for our move. The dog was super cute too :). I cannot recommend Dan's Place enough, and even though I no longer live in the area I will be telling everyone I know to use them!

The woman was very nice and looked like she knew what she was doing. I was very shocked and disappointed.
