This was an “authorized dealer” who I believe lives at the store location..we opted for a self check out process for picking up our truck, yet the truck wasn’t prepared. First, we couldn’t get cell reception in this area making the app useless for check out, as we fumbled through a slow checkout, we were met with having to call the authorized dealer for the keys, making it not a self check out process. We explained what was going on and the guy was still confused saying we didn’t have a reservation.. because we didn’t, we already checked out through the app.. we just needed our equipment and keys. He finally figured out that we needed keys and still seemed very confused about which truck was needed and continued to attempt to correct us and talk over us even though we already verified the truck number and just again, needed keys and equipment. Once we finally landed on the same page, he opened the back of the truck for inspection but the dolly and appliance dolly were not in the truck which was another ordeal. The app asked for us to confirm details by taking photos and the guy was snapping at my wife telling her to just take pictures in our gallery and to leave. Very rushed, rude and just a frustrating experience dealing with another subpar authorized dealer who seems very put out by having a customer.

ODESSA RThe location was supposed to open at 9:00 a.m. we were there at 9:15 and the door was locked and all lights were out. When we were about to leave the man came out and told us to come in. He's an elderly man and very slow on the computer. He had to start over 3 times and kept blaming it on the computer. The location closed early. Supposed to close at 5 p.m. We were there at 4:30 and it was closed. On the key Dropbox there was a note to return the truck via the U-Haul app. So I had to download the app in order to do this. The app is a joke. Not user friendly at all. After about 45 minutes the app finally took the return. Not really a good experience.

SAMUEL TI did not have any interactions with personnel. I used the mobile feature, so everything was done through my cell phone. This location for drop off was very small. It was difficult to return the truck as there was minimal space to drop off the 15’ truck I rented. This location was clean and the drop off process was fine.
Sandra HWe arrived to our pick up location to find the truck was not available even though it was clearly parked and available. The dispatcher that called and rebooked me here from our original location did not arrange for the online pick up even though the business was closed at that time. We were rebooked for a location in a very dangerous area at a business without lighting in the parking lot. It was a very very stressful situation, and wasted most of our evening when it could have been quick, easy, and efficient.
