Kwasi OVraiment déçue de mon expérience avec U-Haul Rivière des prairies. Premièrement, j’avais réservé un camion pour le 20 juin à 9 h du matin depuis le 2 juin 2026. À mon arrivée sur place, on m’a annoncé que le camion avait été donné à quelqu’un d’autre à 8 h du matin. Ensuite, après plus d’une heure d’attente au téléphone, on m’a finalement dit que le camion était disponible. J’ai dû retourner au succursale pour une deuxième fois. À la fin, lors du retour du camion, le responsable de U-Haul a fait l’inspection et m’a dit que le niveau d’essence était inférieur à celui indiqué au départ. Pourtant, avant de quitter, j’avais pris une photo et je lui ai montré que je n’avais pas reçu le camion à 1/4 plein : le niveau était en dessous du 1/4, et la photo le démontre. Il n’a rien voulu savoir et a dit que, si je ne mettais pas plus d’essence, ils débiteraient environ 47 $ sur ma carte de crédit, alors que le camion avait été remis au même niveau d’essence qu’à la prise. Je trouve qu’il n’y a aucun professionnalisme dans cette entreprise. Les responsables se permettent trop de choses. Il est évident ils ont les informations de la carte de crédit, il se permet donc de mettre de la pression sur les clients. C’est vraiment injuste. Dans tous les cas, ce sont toujours les clients qui sont perdants.

djibril tThe truck has a check engine that was flashing time to time, luckily I was not moving far. The ramp was cover by earth that I need to clean with a shopvac to no slide on it. Overall ok and not expensive so I can recommend but not to take the highway in my opinion.

Kathleen VAn improvement could be the honesty with which the tracking of the gas is done in the system. We picked up a truck that had between 1/2 and 5/8 of gas in the tank. I returned it with 1/2 and was told that I needed to pay an extra $25 to add the remaining amount when I had just spent $25 on gas to get it to 1/2. I wasn’t satisfied being charged this extra amount when I showed the vendor a photo that there was not 5/8 of gas in the tank when I picked it up.

youssef sLot of problem with app (android) Unable to enter miles (say overcharge for 0.0 miles) close and reopen app give second step with picture but cannot accept picture of the big scratch. Ask for cleanliness BUT doesnt accept answer "no" because need a picture BUT say we cannot add picture.

DAVID EChange the owner hes not respecting uhaul policy he tried to charge me 260 $ for deposit and my round trip was 90$ hes added km so the deposit is higher . No good customer service and he act like he own the company uhaul, and for the uhaul i can provide pictures it was really nasty they did not clean it
Taha ACould be more clean. Since it was my first time, I was scared I would be charge clearing fees when I saw the truck in the morning. Amazing service over all.

MACKBI FJ'ai eu le camion 20 pieds très rapidement et le retour a été aussi très simple.
MICHEL POnly one popsitive point : The truck was new. I ordered a dolly because we needed it for big oven, fridge, etc. But the guy said there is no dolly in it !!! I needed it ! We had to do our move whitout the dolly and someone hurts hiumself in the back… Realy desapointed. The truck was full of snow in the wind shield and no snow blade to help me. The guy dosen’t speak french ! U-Haul don’t speak french also when i called. Also, i was supposed to pick up near my house but they send me in Montreal, i lost a lot of time… I want to do a complaint and don’t recommend it
MICHEL CThis was i think the worse custumer experience i ever had. You really should not let this owner rent your truck because your company image is rolling in the dirt with him. Honestly i hate my experience and probably wont rent again with you ever. The owner could not even serve us in french which is illegal in québec first of all.. And then the truck was park hard to took off. he did not gave us explaination before we leave with the truck, just verify credit card and permit and give the key.. wow What a good service. Then i had to took a bunch of picture of the truck with my phone as if i have only that to do. I was in a hurry to do my moving before the recycle center close at 18h. I had difficulty with you form. its say i took too much picture but i took only the one that was asked. I went inside to ask help with the owner he didnt know what i was talking about, he did not know i had to take picture. i waste 30 minute before i could leave the parking because of this nightmare of photoshoot. plus at the end it doesnt work. I did my moving and i was too short in time to go at the recycle center thanks to your forms that doesnt work and the non- help i received by the owner of the rental place.. When i bring back the truck it took him 25 minute to close the bill and tell us how much it would cost us. i pass other client at his depanneur to buy stuff while we were waiting for the bill.. Very irrespectfull. I ask for a full refund of the location, the 75$ as a compensation and its the least you can do. The best you should do is close this rental location. its a mess and you ruin your company image..
FRANCOIS DS’assurer qu’il y ait les couvertures de protection ainsi que le diable de fourni (j’avais fait la demande, mais ils en avaient pas). Sinon, le camion est propre, bien gazé et les gens de la place sont là pour t’aider et c’est vraiment clair comment la procédure fonctionne.

ANDRE VJ'ai loué un camion chez uhoul rivière des Prairies le monsieur n'est pas honnête, il a prix presque 150$ en cautionnement et il m'a dit que je rembourserait la différence alors qu'il ne l'a jamais fait et quand je l'appel su téléphone il prétend qu'il ne parle pas français alors que toute la convention était en français lors de la location.

MARCEL Rje pense que U-haul doit corriger ceci, la question que le client donne en main propre sa carte de crédit au préposé de service . n'est pas conforme à la loi qui interdit qu'on se confie sa carte qui contient son pin au tiers personne. c'est à corriger cette aberration

Christian LLe camion était très sale avec des canettes de bière ouvertes et toute la partie de stockage arrière était remplie par de la bière et autre saleté. J’ai du passé 30 minutes pour nettoyer avant de commencer mon déménagement, ce n’est absolument pas acceptable surtout quand la location se fait par heure comme le cas pour moi.

YVAN SLe service client du dépanneur a pris 30 minutes pour rentrer ses données à l'ordinateur. J'avais louer pour 6 heures de temps. De 10h à 16 h. C'est à partir de 10h30 qu'on a eu le camion seulement. Nous avons eu des problèmes de trafic. A 16h00 il a appelé pour chiâler qu'on est retard ! !! On a été porté le véhicule à 16h35..

Rachid MEngine light was on, and when I told the owner, he said he would just cancel the contract and i could leave it. It was the only truck there, as i needed to move that morning, i kept it. The box and the cab had not been cleaned out. I had also rented 12 pads, but was given a bag of 6, unfolded. When i told him it was supposed to be 12, he went and got another bag of pads that were just thrown into a torn bag. What the h*** is a $5 charge for a trip without problems?????? That and the $1 environmental fee are a ripoff.
David FI reserved the truck weeks in advance and to pick it up at one location but a day before I take it, they sent me to a different location far from me where I had to pay a taxi to get there. The unit was clean but shaking like a leaf every time I brake.
JOHNNY SI reserved a trolley when booking and NO TROLLEY AVAILABLE ONCE THERE… very not acceptable. Overcharged of 4$ on my credit card also.

Frantzya AUnfortunately, the location is close to the Montreal garbage dump: it stinks big time! When I went to pick up the trailer, I almost vomited twice! It smelled like a dead animal. Dropping it off was ok -- the wind was blowing from the right direction.

Francois-Olivier LI was supposed to be charge 63$ and they bill me 91$. I called them 3 times today and they didn't answer. I'll have to go there again to ask for a refund of 28$.
Benoit LJ'ai fait affaire deux (2) fois avec cet endroit. Tout a bien été. Le camion était disponible et propre. Le propriétaire du dépanneur (Chinois) était accueillant et ses occupés de tout. Aucun problème pour le montant facturé. Vous pouvez faire confiance.

carlos aVoulez-vous vérifier le prix approximatif et le prix payé en finale? Il y a une différence et de plus j’ai mis trop d’essence et le niveau final était au 3/4 et non 5/8. Dans l’ensemble je suis satisfait de votre service. Merci Alain Van Der Loo

Edner BThe dealer where I picked up the trailer was completely disorganized! 25 minutes to pick up an item already reserved for 1 month in advance plus no printer so no hard copy no inspection done with rental on return same thing. Worst experience at U-Haul, hard to believe that U-Haul lets their banners run in a place like this!
