Due to being short staffed we had over 25 plus minutes to pick up rental. They were very nice however once they were able to help us. There were no disclosures made re: rental tax on either initial reservation or by UHaul rep- we also put $40 of gas in truck because it was rented out with approx 1/4 tank. Did not use all the fuel returned with approx 1/2 tank of gas. When addressed with staff was told we needed to follow up with corporate. Appreciate the fact there was a local rental location- the rest not so much.

David FUpon picking up the uhual all went well. When I got into the uhual there was a horrible smell. Who ever used the uhual prior to us made a huge mess with some type of liquid. Now I had to go out of my way and clean it due to already running late for my event . It was a huge inconvenience with that smell. I put two air fresheners .
jeimilly aThe cab and cargo area smelt heavily of “oil”. Cab didn’t feel very clean at all.. and previous customers receipt was left in the visor; all together, lack of cleanliness Made for a very unenjoyable experience.

David FThe remote process SUCKED!!! It was so complicated! I was in tears before I even got the truck out of the lot! And returning was an equal nightmare. AND I felt incredibly unsafe behind a gas station, in the dark, by myself, having to watch a video and go through all of these steps like taking photos, etc. I will NEVER do this again even now that I understand what goes into it. AWFUL!!!
Kelly NThe store assisted me in changing trucks on my online reservation so I didn’t need to do a one way drop off, what they failed to do was actually change my order properly so when I went to drop off the truck at a different location, I was turned around and forced to drive all the way back to drop off the truck at the original store. This was incredibly in once ient after driving for the move and not expected. The general manger of the Dw Highway location which I was told I could drop off at was also extremely rude and unprofessional in handling the situation. I would suggest taking more efforts towards proper employee training and considering more professional and affective mangers as well. Both stores in my opinion under permofed in their duties and resulted in a customer having to do more work and pay more for their incompetence. Moving forward I will go thru a mover to avoid working with this company again.

Benjamin LI had a really great experience with this location and the van itself. It was easy to drive, the seats were very comfortable, the only thing I wasn’t crazy about was not being able to see out the back, and the side view was hard. I like to check and double check when changing lanes especially and the blindspots made me a little nervous. I was amazed that it could hold as much as it did. I checked the size comparison between the van and the pickup truck and boy was I happy with my choice. I fit everything in and more! There was damage to the inside of the side door that the instructions didn’t tell me to look there, but it wasn’t bad and had no problems because of it. Thank you uhaul, I am forever a happy customer and can’t wait to find something I need the van to move.

STEPHEN ACheck in process needs to be streamlined. I rented a van twice from the same location, twice in 7 days and much of the information that I first provided wasn't saved and had to be re-entered, even though I used the same credit card, had an electronic reservation and rented from the same location. Check in process is very repetitive for returning customers.

kelly aThe truck was great. My problem lies within how negligent an employee of where I rented from can be. I rented the truck for 1 day put on 59 miles and was mistakenly charged for 9000 miles and the proceeded to be charged for the mistake. Now I have to wait 5 days during a big move to be able to use my credit card. All because of a careless mistake.

Mike WI ordered a 19 foot truck with 6 blankets and a dolly. The day before picking up the truck I received a phone call stating that I was going to be using a cargo van instead. I was also told the dolly and blankets weren't in the van. I ordered these extras for a reason.

angel dI was charged for 3 days because nobody checked the key drop off lockbox. I rented it for 5 hours, brought it back after 4 and a half. The place was locked with nobody in sight to give the key personally. Kind of messed up to get charged for 3 days. Why have a lockbox if you're going to charge people extra days.

Olivia BYour checking process through the website sucks. Truck should have clearly marked fuel tank size and avg. gallons per mile. Others clean and rode great.
Dennis LThe truck was stuck where it was park because of ice. The worker at the gas station was excellent. He towed it out with the company work truck. It took an hour in the dark and freezing cold to get the truck out so it could be used. In the winter the uhaul vehicles should have studs on the tires and have sand in them. I brought a bucket of sand for the move so that it did not happen while moving. I also avoided ice and snow altogether.

CHRISTOPHER FThe pickup process didn't follow the normal U-Haul process so I forgot to take pictures of the trailer before leaving. There was no significant damage before or after the rental so everything was fine but had there been damage I'm not sure how I would have proven it wasn't caused by me.
