Truck too small for a 1 bedroom apartment..forced to make 2 trips, overpaid for mileage, truck had no ramp, very uncomfortable to load and unload. Generally unhappy with the reservation and truck.

THE GUY IS A THEVE, I BROUGHT HIM BACK THE TRUCK NICE & CLEAN & HE CHARGES ME $54 DOLLARS FOR CLEANING. I NEED THIS $54 DOLLARS BACK OR I'll CANCEL THE ENTIRE CHARGE . SINCERELY Y. Be open when it is returned. For some reason I was directed to return my truck to this place which was not open on weekends. Then I was charged $25 for cleaning. We left the truck as we found it, but it was unlocked because I had no padlock. I was the one who threw out empty bottles left by someone else in the cab. No one mentioned a cleaning charge when I rented this truck!

My recent experience with U-hual was very unpleasant. I initially reserved a truck to be picked up only 5 minutes from my house. Two days prior to my move date I was called by a very rude uhual employee named tayshawn who told me my pickup destination would be moved. Despite the employee's rude manner of speaking and lack of knowledge I was understanding that sometimes these things happen. I was fine when after being asked the employee finally told me that I would be comped the 40 mile difference. Because the pick up location was further away I asked him to change my pick up time to 830am instead of 9:00am. Since that phone conversation I persistently checked my uhual app for changes in my reservation. Everything seemed in order until I arrived at the pick up location. When I tried to perform the self pick up the option was grayed out which was strange because I was there at 8:30am like my pick up time had always stated. After restarting the app multiple times I learned that after I had already driven 30 minutes to the pick up location that my reservation time had shifted to 10:00am. After calling the area field manager he told me that the previous customer returned the truck late last night and it had never been marked as received. I understand this this isn't fully avoidable but what is unacceptable is: that no one had alerted me about this change The app showed no changes No one attempted to find a different truck nearby that was available

This is the second rental. The first reservation I made was in Tuxedo, NY. When I got there, my equipment was not there. It look 2 1/2 hours, long phone calls, cancelling the fist reservation and ultimately a new reservation to get a van in a new location at 10:30pm. Southfields is fine. But my kids were screaming tired. It was an stressful and unpleasant experience.

They had just cut high grass around the unit so there was clippings on the back step and the tires on the passenger side. Inside had some pieces of garbage in it. Staff was great and very personable.

Exceeded my expectations. They provided wonderful customer service and was very accommodating in making a reservation and for pick-up and drop off. Staff was very helpful and friendly.The truck was ready and clean when I needed it and he contacted me the day before to ensure me the vehicle will be ready. I would recommend this location to anyone that needs a U-Haul truck within that area.

Not very respective service. This location is short staffed, and also has a number of things all at once - did not feel like the U-Haul business was a priority. Plus egress is limited, so one has to back out of the property.

If we are told the car does not have to be back until 2:45 than it should state that on our contract and do not say it i has to be back 1 hr earlier. The rental is for a day which is 24 hours not 22 or 23 hrs.

Their needs to be some adjustments to the self service app. Wasn’t working well so had to check in/out via customer service.

Your best bet is to avoid using the internet to make your reservation. Singing up for the vehicle is okay, but it seems you will get locked in to using the internet reservation from that point forward. In other words, even if the place you're picking the vehicle up is open, that doesn't mean that they can help you check the vehicle out. You'll still need to follow the internet checkout method. You may even get an email that tells you that your pickup location is NOT what you singed up for.

My reservation was originally with Prestige Auto Body in Chester, N.Y. When I got there they didn't have the trailer and send me 15 miles away They said for my inconvenience I would get a 3 day credit which I never received. I submitted a concern with your local number but nothing was done

I haven't even picked up my rental yet, bc the rental was not available when i needed it. I have currently been on the phone for over 35 minutes, have spoken to 7 people and then got transferred back to the main line. now i'm holding again. the only reason i am holding so i can get a copy of this call bc it is fucking ridiculous. nobody is communicating with each other and nobody is able to help. then i was transferred to customer service who also can do nothing to help me. If i wasn't on such a short notice i would cancel my truck b/c of the shitty shitty service i am getting. nobody is communicating and now i have been on the phone for 45 minutes and still nobody will HELP ME.

Drop off location was closed at 6pm and was unlit. No signs stating it was also a uhual. It was an auto body shop that it had to ask the gas station down the street where it was. He told me it happens frequently because there is no signage.

The location was closed and there was no problem dropping the truck off. The location was not well signed. We accidentally passed by because there was on a small sign that we saw when it was too late. It had one only entrance.

When setting up the rental I did ask for a different location. Mike did give me a discount and I appreciated it. Roger at the location really went out of his way to make everything great. He is a real asset to UHAUL. And after a horrible experience at a car rental he really had great customer service. Treating me more like a family member then a client.

My issue is that after I rented the truck, I received a text message from somebody saying my drop-off location was such and such a location. This was different from what I booked on the Internet and what my contract said when I picked up the truck. I replied back witha text message, but received no response. Then I received a voice message that said my drop-off location is Southfiled (which is not what was told to me); The caller who left the message was rude. Did not explain why it changed. Did not ask me to "please" drop off the tuck at a different location. When I got to the new/revised location, the place was closed. The location that was on my contract was much closer to where I wanted to drop the truck off and was open. - Not much I can do, but I will never rent form U-Haul again and will go with Budget. Good store in Malvern, PA, but the regional people who re-directed my drop-off treated me poorly and I will pull my business. I am moving my family to NY and am moving one of my children to Chicago. Instead of using U-Haul for both of these moves, I will use Budget. - If the person that left me the voice mail said his name was Gladstone from the regional office. His # is 877-797-1466. - If he would have asked me to help them ouyt and return to a different location, I would have done it. if he would have explained why they changed the location, I would have went along. - What I got was no information and just Gladstone telling me to drop the truck off at a location that was further away than the original drop-off point. - You lost my business and I will not recommend U-Haul to anybody.

Fix the pothole in front of the store. It caused $900 in damage to our car. Kind of put a damper on picking up our truck. Also what I arranged on line was not what happened. He called to confirm it never told me the address was different so I first went to the gulf station. They are nice people but that could have been better.

The truck I rented was a comfotable ride. However, I hit heavy rain during the trip & the truck had a leak somewhere. I was getting water running down from the seatbelt area on the drivers side. Forty-five minutes into a 10hr ride my left side was soaked. I informed the guy where I brought the truck back to & he stated he would note the problem.
