CAROL SI have rented from this location before and didn't have issues. The issues that occured this weekend caused an undue and unreasonable amount of stress during an already stressful time of my life as I pack up and move into a new home. Pickup after hours was a simple process. I did the check-in on the app and entered all of the damage I observed. Drop off was not so simple as the app would not register my location and complete the drop off process, which is not the fault of DunRite rentals, so that turned out to not be an issue. What did turn out to be an issue was checking my email the next day and seeing that I had been automatically charged for a broken mirror which I had dutifully logged into the app the day before. Thank goodness I had purchased the Safe Drive thing because the charge would have been over $700. Nobody had a conversation with me regarding this charge and apparently the rental location does not have access to the app because they would have seen that I entered that information the day before. This mistake was unprofessional and not based on doing thorough work, and I'm baffled as to why they didn't have access to my check out information before deciding to charge me. And it doesn't look good that they weren't already aware the mirror was damaged before I received the rental. It added an extra $150 charge to my account which I then spent a significant amount of time disputing. Quite literally the last thing I needed to deal with today as moving is already very expensive and stressful. Customer service on the phone was helpful at disputing the charge but now I have to wait up to 5 days for the refund. This has decreased my opinion of U-Haul and I am far less likely to go to them for rentals, as this does not give me the impression that this is a company that can handle my business reliably and professionally.

KEVIN MThe cargo can was better that the truck is rented primarily bc it was newer and in better condition. There was still mud everywhere bc the parking lot is a mud pit. Even just some gravel would go a long way to keeping mud off everything
Michele CParking lot is all mud so there is mud on all the trucks, it gets on everything you are trying to move. The 15' truck rented was rickety as heck. Not only did I have to clean dirt and mud off things I was moving bc of the truck the pad lock on the back of the truck was broken so leaving items unattended was not exactly an option.

LUIS MIssues/concerns: 1. U-Haul pick up location was moved twice. I had to drive 25+ miles one way to pick up. It’s not worth driving with added miles plus my effort plus my time. 2. Truck shutter wasn’t working as expected. This made our life difficult. We couldn’t use the truck well. I feel I wasted Lot of money.

GARY LThe truck still had furniture and trash inside. I didn’t realize it until I got to my destination and opened the back door. However, I took a picture and called the lady to inform her. She apologized and said that I would receive a discount, but I didn’t!

CRAIG MThe truck had 1/4 tank of gas. I paid over $300.00 for the use of less than 8 hours. It should have had gas in it. I will never recommend or use Uhaul every again because I was misled by the website that said that it was $29.00 per day for the rental. There was an over $200.00 charge for some Michigan garbage.

ANTHONY JPlease dont allow people to reserve a truck if it's not going to be at the location they prefer. I originally booked a truck that was .5 miles away from my home, only to be told the day before that I needed to drive 35 minutes because my location did not have the truck I RESERVED at that location. Then acted like they were doing me a favor by adding the mileage for no additional cost. The people at both places were extremely friendly. That was appreciated. Im sure it says somewhere in the agreement that things could change, but then why allow reservations? They also did not notify me within 24 hours and had to scramble to adjust my plans on an already stressful snowy day. I will most definitely book with Uhaul again but I'll make sure to have a backup plan just in case.

AATHI PThe lot was not paved. But the after hours drop off was very handy and was handled efficiently. Spoke with the associate earlier in the day and she was very pleasant and quite helpful.
ANTHONY SAfter hours return instructions review at pickup since they closed at 1pm. I wan't familiar with the process. The app walked me through it but I already had locked the van and took pictures. I had to go back and retake the ones I took plus additional ones to complete the return. It took about 10-15" to complete the return. I wasn't sure I did everything correctly.

James OSo going to start with this wasn’t my original picked location. Due to equipment availability I was moved 45 mins. This isn’t their fault obviously. U-Haul in general I have rented over a dozen times now, handful of times the equipment during check out didn’t pass, whether the lights weren’t working, tires, or something else. Everything got hooked up and checked out “ok” with one light being a little weak. The guy said I was good to go, drove 45 mins back to where we were moving from and open the trailer to find it 1/2 full with cardboard boxes and trash. I immediately call and turn around back. When I get there they did apologize and clean the trailer out. It’s on me for not checking the back myself, but again in over a dozen times I have never had anything left over from the previous renter. So in a chaos filled day of moving almost 2 hours is lost with driving back and forth. The owner was very nice and apologetic and I am sure they will address this in the future where they check out the inside of units, but it was still aggravating all the way around.
JOHN ZOnly complaint is with the condition of the lot. Be nice if the potholes were fixed and equipment moved away from entry. Otherwise, just fine.

WILLIAM JI opted for a mobile pickup as it worked with my scheduled outside the facilities hours of operations. The lock wouldn’t unlock. Every person I worked with was helpful. But it delayed my process nearly an hour, initially trying the lock then calling uhaul customer service for her to contact regional manager then facility manager who had to arrive and use a wrench to open the lock. If none of that happened though, I wouldn’t have had the appliance dolly I paid to reserve (or any dolly) which was critical to move the item I needed.
