First it was supposed to be lake ave they rented it out they sent us to this gas station. The guy had us waiting while he talked to his saying to wait a minute, we said we had to pick up my daughter he said not his problem,, once done he did not give a receipt,,,or check the truck over,,it was muddy inside the cab, I cleaned it and there was garbage in it..had absolutely no gas in it at all but said I had to have at least a quarter tank to return it,,,I got my time extended 2x it was supposed to be returned the 15th 6pm they picked it up abt 5 using towbuster towing,,,it wasn't even uhaul it was the guy from the gas station,,I will never get a uhaul from any where but UHaul itself...they should cancel the gas station on S Plymouth Ave Rochester I believe it was Sunoco,,,this email says drop off on Long Pond but I was told it had to go back to Plymouth..I'm not sure what the heck going on but,,,then on top of it all there was even a miles check,,,no never ever again

Don't over charge for gas after saying bring it back as it is

The next location they sent me to was in a terrible part of the city and some dude just sitting on a freezer was the “uhaul guy”. Put me behind schedule, massively inconvenient, literally terrified being a single woman in that gas station. Awful experience.

Renee FI do feel the rental cost was a lot more than it should have been. We got it at 9:30am and retuned it by 3:30pm and it was over $100. That’s a ridiculous price, I will be looking at other options for the return. Which sucks because the uhaul employees were great.

Kyaw ZUsing the app to submit information after returning the truck was difficult, it was slow and mentioned returning the car and then after indicated that there were questions to answer and pictures to take, although the keys had been returned by then. I think it would be helpful to indicate there are questions to submit before returning the keys.

Jessica JI'd recommend having associates be more familiar with the check in/out process. I signed up to just check in/out myself but then I had someone come up when I was already on the last step insisting on doing it for me and repeating everything I'd already done. Other U-Hauls have also used the x stickers better on all the damage on the truck. Our truck had a lot of scratches and dents that didn't have them when we picked it up which worried me but didn't end up being an issue. The check in process went more smoothly.

The web page reloaded so many times and made me fill everything out again that I ended up downloading the app in the parking lot…which also didn’t work super well, though eventually it did. Other than that, it was fine and the employees at this location were polite and helpful.
Elizabeth BI was chiseled after return of a t ruck for about $15. Also, I returned it early by 40 minutes and they did not reduce the time to credit back anything. I am not pleased now.
