Attendant would only take the key and provided no receipt showing I returned the truck. It was not until I called the next morning and asked why it still showed as outstanding on my account did they check it in. This caused unnecessary worry on my part.James H.

My original location for pick up was incorrect and 2 miles away. I had just been dropped off by an Uber and had to get to this location.Jason W.
When the customer asks â€œDo we need to note the damage on the fender of the car hauler? â€œ The renter shouldn't say â€œDon't worry. You have the insurance. Drive it like you stole it.â€ And then send me out with broken welds that would have shredded the tire on the highway and caused an accident. I'm currently speaking to an attorney.Michael P.
The wires in the trailer were frayed and couldn't be connected to the truck. The trailer was apparently just for in town towing but when we asked if we could return it to any uhaul we were told yes. So when we arrived at our destination 4 hours away we had to call uhaul and explain.Mike Y.

The UHAUL location is poorly marked. The only way I knew it was potentially the right place was the trucks in back. I had to go inside and ask someone where the UHAUL pick-up was because I wasn't sure if I was in the right spot.Allen M.

I made areservation for market street in Wilmington, and had to drive to castle hayne. I reserved furniture and utility handtrucks, of which there were none. Very unhappy.Anne W.
It was a bit confusing to find the actual storefront and where to park the truck, because it was crowded with trailers and other uhaul trucks. Better signage would be helpful. Staff was helpful though.stephnie S.

I was told that I would need to bring truck back same night I picked up as it was rented for 9 the next morning. I picked the truck up late in the afternoon and it was a burden. The storage unit I was renting went online from their establishment and told me they had one available but there was no mention of it only being available for the evening, it made for a very long evening for me.Lisa B.

It was pouring rain when we dropped of the truck. It was very hard to find the door to enter to return the truck. Better signs would be extremely helpfuljohn J.
At the first location I had to move a uhaul truck with a trailer on it because they couldn't back or take the trailer off for another customer to rent the truck then while trying to rent my trailer the lady couldn't use the computer and said if I could make reservation online that she could just type the name in the computer and check me out so i did but that didn't happen either because she could figured the computer out. I even had a reservation manager call me and she said she could check me out over the phone but the lady was rude and wouldn't talk to the reservation manager. Reservation manager gave me a 50 $ credit on the trailer and revered me to another location 2 miles down the road for 12pm. So at 12 pm I show up to the final pick up location and the guy that runs the uhaul sales was not their so another person in the office tried to help and it was also a time consuming ordeal because for some reason I ended up giving all of my information over the phone that I had all ready done previously. I spent nearly 2.5 hrs dealing with uhual sales personnel and moving their trucks for other customers and I did all the reservation and paid onlineWhitney H.

I got the truck and it had packing cloth in the back I was charged a cleaning fee when the cloths where already in there when I picked up the truck and I also talked to the guy about my Mileage rate being 69cent and they charged me 99cent and said its what I signed so needless to say I wasn't happy and I actually felt worked over so I'd never rent uhal againTERRANCE J.

I was disappointed in the service I received. I was quoted one thing on the phone while I reserved the truck only to find out when I returned it the quote I was given was not what I was charged. Then out of curiosity I called back to check rates again and they had been jacked up by almost triple per mile . what kind of business is this. How do you go from quoting me 39 cent a mile to charging me 69cent a mile. when I call back to "get a quote" they go to 90 cents a mile. For the same truck I had just rented. I am so not impressed with your company. I will never rent again from you nor will I recommend your company to anyone I know.Christa E.

The older gentleman that seemed to run the place was very disrespectful to me. He actually fussed at me /scolded me in front of my husband for running behind schedule . I felt disrespected and embarrassed. Very unprofessional behavior.paula B.

The online reservation was all wrong and the place did not have the trailer for my destination. I had to settle with a different trailer. But the people at the store were very understanding and accommodating. The only thing wrong with my experience was that my reservation was moved to a different location but they didn't change the reservation like I was told.PAMELA H.
All in all, it was the worst rental experience I ever had. Horrible customer service. I was in the uhaul store for well over an hour even though prior to getting there I had reserved, pre paid, and checked in. To make things better the a/c in the uhaul I rented was broken.Mikol S.
