Terrible experience. Do not use this location. Arrived at 3:15 PM. It is a car stereo shop located in a storage unit.. Only little signs outside the door saying U-Haul. No (zero) inventory to show it was a UHaul Business. No signs directing into this off the road back areas. Drove around to see if in correct place. Finally parked on some gravel and unhooked, no help. Called the phone number on the door for help. NO ANSWER. Read very small sign that stated: "You must use the app to check in or extra charge per contract. Checked the contract, nothing about this extra charge. Finally called national U-Haul. She was really nice. Told me to leave trailer there and she would check me in. Ask her to send me an e-mail confirming, which she did on the spot. This place offers no assistance, no signs, does not answer the phone posted on the door that says will give assistance. States extra charge for doing the work they are suppose to do. It is out in the country, buried back in a construction zone. Stay away. To National U-haul, please go out and evaluate this as a dealer. If in Gretna, go up to Harrison and use the Mini Mart. They understand customer service and are open long hours.

How are you a certified uhaul dealer and not know how to help get a car on the transport and strap it down?? The wasn’t gonna even help me guide it on to the transport! He stood there and talked on the phone while I figured out how to do everything!!!! What if I was not able to do this and figure it out? What if my wife was picking it up by herself would he have just stood there and not do anything? RIDICULOUS!! I will not recommend this place at all

The web site indicated office hours 9-5 but no one was there at 10:30, however there was a sign on the door with a phone number which I called and the gentleman said to just leave the trailer around back which I did. Normally I would expect paperwork to indicate that I in fact did return the trailer.

I had a reservation for 9:00, showed up at 9:00 and employee working on a car said employee with access to uhaul check in was not going to be there till 9:30. I left site at 9:50, totally frustrated as hottest day of the year and had friends set up to start moving at 9:15.

We I called the manager of the location he told me that he couldn't help me and I needed to call uhaul. I called uhaul and the guy I spoke with was very helpful. When I went to return the vehicle my rental wasn't showing up on the app, i called uhaul and the lady I spoke with said she couldn't help me and told me to "leave the truck and they'd sort it out on Monday". Over all, not great customer service.

Showed up 20min late to his business when I was there right at opening time. This set me behind on moving agenda for the day (gas, weighing vehicle, loading, etc.) and complicated inventory management with the moving company who was actively working at my house. Once he arrived, it was a seamless rental.

When returning after hours the app was difficult and if app isn’t used, you are charged an extra $20.
