When I picked up the trailer I was given a number to call to find out where to drop it off in Corner Brook. I got it approximately 2:00 on Friday and I had it rented for 2 day's so my return day was Sunday. The person I was talking with said that I couldn't drop it off on Sunday because it was closed and they need to see it when it's dropped off. I told him that I only had it rented for 2 day's and he said that's fine, you won't be charged for the extra day because it's their fault. So when I returned first thing Monday morning she said I had to pay for the extra day and then I explained to her what I was told and she accepted it with no problem but the paperwork was already gone through so she had to call the head office to get it changed. The guy she was on the phone with wasn't very cooperative and said that no one would tell me that and was still going to charge me for the extra day but then later he changed it to "you take the $25 back from my $60 deposit and the rest will have to be disputed with another department". Then I asked him if they record phone calls and he said yes so I said we'll then that's perfect because you can pull up the recording of my phone call and you will see that I was told to drop it off on Monday and not Sunday. I said I will get the time, date, duration and number that I called and literally as I was looking on my phone to get the information he had a "hold on maybe we can try this" moment and he asked the lady if she could try something and lo and behold all of a sudden he was able to give my full $60 deposit back. I was less than impressed to say the least. It was my last day home before I went back to work on Tuesday and I didn't want to spend it driving 2 hours to Corner Brook and then be treated like I was trying to rip off the company by the representative on the phone and then drive another 2 hours to get home, when I could have dropped it off on Sunday. It's funny how he couldn't help me with getting back my full deposit but as soon as I told him I would get him the information to help pull up the conversation I had, he was immediately able to give it back. The number I called was 902 465 3623 and i called it at 2:42pm on Friday June 17th. So to be clear, the representative in the Gander and Corner Brook shops were perfect. My issue was with the lie I was told on Friday on the phone call and the guys attitude on the phone Monday morning.STEPHEN H.

My pickup location was changed from Stephenville to Cornerbrook which meant we had to drive approximately 100 miles out of our way . This wasted an entire morning that we needed for packing. We also wasted extra fuel driving both vehicles. When I called the 1-800 line, I got terrible service, the woman I spoke to was rude, actually lectured me about uhaul's business model, and before I could finish responding, she hung up on me. As uhaul has no competition here, I was left with no choice but to drive to Cornerbrook and back for the van I needed. This one of my worst customer service experiences ever. I will not use uhaul again. To be fair, the staff at the local outlets were very helpful.GLENN RUSSELL H.

Only have the vehicles on your locations' websites that are available to be used there. Vehicles move around UHaul locations but there are certain vehicles, such as the pickup truck, that don't leave St. John's, yet are available to reserve online at this and other locations.Robert P.

Radio reception was terrible in Newfoundland. A radio with a USB connection would definitely be a comfort on long tripDENNIS COLIN W.
My only suggestion would be to have extra products on hand. I needed a larger dolly and none was available. Had to pay more money to rent an auto transport. On a positive note, the lady I spoke to was awesome! Very friendly, very helpful and informative! Give that lady a raise!!!Vanessa S.

I had a very Friendly lady serve me at this location and she was always kind and helpful I would like to see your small utility trailers equipped with jacks installed on them mostly because if it had materials such as crushed stone in it there is no way to dropped the trailer on site and leave it . Helpful on drop off -- accepted our feedback on poor condition of the truck, and efficient at checking the truck back in. Due to the poor visibility in driving, we were a day late returning the truck, and the location was accommodating of the extension on the phone.Dean P.
