There was another full-service Uhaul location less than a quarter-mile from my mother's house which was much more well-lit and would have been more convenient and would have kept us from going over the mileage allotment. I don't understand why we weren't allowed to return to that center instead of having to go 6 miles out of our way to return the truck.

We were not told that we would be charged for an after hours return.  We were told that since our return truck time was 7:30 am when the facility wasn't opened that it was expected that we would return the truck after hours.  We would like to receive a credit for this fee.

I was charged a $56 fee for some kind of safe move insurance that I did not want nor was I asked.

I paid for one dozen blankets. They were wrapped up when we got them, so I assumed there were 12. When it was time to use them, I only had 6. I was a little disappointed because I needed more. Next time I will rip them open and count them. Why don't they rent tie downs? Every mover needs them.

I tried to do a Mobil pickup however your GPS didn't match this location. I walked up a hill in the mud and my feet were soaking wet by the time I was done, trying to ping your webs location which it never did! I had to call customer service and they had to get ahold of the district manager and he had to manually pickup and Thank God he could help. I was literally walking around out in a field trying to get the stupid GPS to Mach for an hour. Ridiculous!!

The attempt to use uhaul.com was an epic fail. The first step was sharing my location, which the site said it was unable to do because my location sharing was off. It wasn't. I verified through 3 attempts. So, I was sitting in a very dark parking lot by myself after hours attempting to use a process that didn't work properly. Fortunately, I had the time left on my rental and time in my schedule to complete the return the next morning. For the 2nd rental in a row, the size truck that I needed wasn't available at my closest location, which ultimately costs me more money. I see a real down-turn in customer service provided by Uhaul, and I find it disturbing. I plan to check your competitors.

I was mostly surprised to here that these folks didn't have a clue I was coming until I walked in the door since I made the reservation on-line. I can't believe these folks don't get alerted and have all the information waiting on their desk. They also did NOT have my dozen blankets that I ordered so I had none to move with. I thought it took way longer than it should have to get me on my way but they said they are new to U-Haul.

There was no signage for the location, it is far off the main road so I drove past it twice. There wasn't anyone there to help nor a dropbox. Called the company and was told to leave it unlocked with dolly in back of truck and put keys in glovebox. There was no security and I felt uneasy doing what they said to do.
