Rental personnel were not onsite even though the store was open. We made multiple phone calls to get return handled - it was complicated since we had 2 separate rental agreements from the terrible pickup location. No one returned our call. We rented a van from 3pm on and wanted to pick it up in store (not online due to difficulties with the app) at 3:30pm. Upon our arrival we were told that the owner isn't in and that the employee couldn't rent the truck to us. Instead, we were asked to rent online which proved impossible. When the owner arrived 10 minutes later he started yelling at me and my wife. He expressed the opinion that we were late, that he couldn't wait for a customer to arrive, that this delay is our fault, etc. He kept insulting us, even though we tried to explain that it is his responsibility to provide sevice for rentals independent from his being available. His apology for the inappropriate behavior came (too) late and we're certainly not going to give him our business in the future. Either hire staff that can handle rentals during business hours while you aren't in - or don't offer the service at all.Andreas M.

No. I was over charged. I returned the rental with more gas then when I picked it up and was charged an additional $33. I was supposed to get a call from uhaul within 48 hours and I never did.Mark K.

make billing clearer original invoice was $101. My final bill was 128.36. I ordered & paid for a 15' truck but only got a 10' ??? Looks like a got shortchanged here??? Had a $2.16 'drop off charge at Frazer location ??? even after the truck was returned clean and filled with gas the WAWA gas station across the street. Return process was simple but not informative or documented in any way?? Pick up site was friendly and quick, although I was given the smaller truck???MICHAEL D.
I will never rent from you again. i had the worst experience renting the truck. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 9am and the place did not open until 11am. I called customer service to find out what was going on and they sent me to another location. I go to another location that was 45 minutes further and the truck I was promised was not there (26ft). I called customer service again and I was on hold for another 20 minutes so I just hung up and took a 15ft truck that did not feet all the stuff I needed to take. After returning the truck I was charged another $10 for going over the mileage??? I don't understand why if it was not my fault I had to go to another location because the first placed promised was not open as per my reservation.elissa V.
I was disappointed with this transaction. Our truck wasn't at the location where they said it would. It was very inconvenient fir us and we ended up renting two smaller trucks that didn't accommodate our needs. It made our moving experience a nightmare.Charles T.

The front of the truck was covered in grass from the lawn that was recently cut. There were no ramps or quilts/blankets available. The cost at 99 cents a mile is extremely high and you advertise 19.99 a day and it was 29.99 for the day plus the mileage. I am very dissatisfied and the owner is aware. I would like a refund on the total amount charged to my debit card.Sophia W.

The truck that we rented cost us $130. When we arrived to get the truck the app didn't work to pick up. Went inside to pick the truck up, the location was ok. We did not check the back of the truck being leaving this lot assuming that it would have been inspected prior to renting out to another person. When we opened the truck to load our home belongings, the back of the truck smelled like trash and the floor was greasy and slippery. We had to lay down tarps and cardboard just to make sure our personal belongings didn't get damaged from the completely disgusting floor and that we didn't slip on the floor. I would recommend for customers to check the back of the trucks before pulling out of the pick up lot and for the people renting them to better check the trucks upon return.James C.

Upon arrival, the woman working the counter was having a problem with her register. A man in front of me was trying to pay for gas but her register wasn't cooperating. By the time I got to the counter she yelled â€œI don't know what you want! I can't do anything for you!â€ I informed her I was just trying to return a U-haul and she said â€œI'll take it but I'm about to fucking quit real soon!â€ I didn't appreciate being yelled and cursed at. I ordered thus truck over the phone with a very nice lady ...... Paid in Full that day ! Picked up the truck just fine ! Returned the truck the very SAME DAY it was rented for ..... I DID NOT HAVE THUS TRUCK OVER NIGHT !! ..... The drop off location charged me fir 2 more days ??? On a truck I already paid for ??? In full !!!!! I have been charged 3 times what it should have cost per my reservation !!! Now no one seems to be willing to fix this ???? Someone or everyone at the drop off place messed up royally ..... are they not willing to admit that fact ? I'll be calling BBB ..... and Corporation !! This should have been fixed already ..... I refuse to pay fir someone else's mistakes or lack of knowledge of original contract !!John C.

Your pickup/drop off location questions should have the same questions so that you can compare the answers. Drop off location was adequate but there should be a way of scanning in keys when they're dropped off, especially when dropped off in person. I was not even offered a receipt. Because I trust people in that area, everything was fine, but I would not drop off a truck without a tracking receipt in most of the country. This is a relatively easy fix for your company, and in 2019, it's very odd that such a large and important brand does not have matching tech. This was not the fault of the drop off location -- the solution here has to be top-down from your company.Andrew P.

I was charged $25 for fuel and for 2 dolly's wheb I was told that 1 was no charge because he didn't have an appliance dolly. There is no way I used $25 in fuel, I put gas in it before I returned it.Holly T.

This location told me the truck was not available but I was able to rent it online. Online it was available. It seems like this location does not know how to run their Uhaul business. I had to walk the employee through some steps of the transaction prior to renting and Upon returning the truck. To me it was common sense. Check-in and Check-out could be quicker. Policy of 1/2 full gas tank when picking up and dropping off is in-exact. Much rather have Full and Full, then customer knows what is required. If not returned in Full state, then U-Haul knows exactly what to charge. If you have to take it somewhere to be filled, that should be a flat charge in addition to the fuel charge.Bill K.
