The box van had a huge puddle in it when we picked it up and sand on the ground. So had to drive it back to my house to clean it out. Before use. They just handed us keys and was like here go get the box van. They didn't pull it around for us. That is the first time for me that they didn't bring it around.Barbara H.

I had to go to three locations for our rental pick up. We were not in the system initially and when I was finally directed to a customer service representative on the phone (after waiting 45 mins), she yelled at me and was extremely disrespectful. I have two screenshots of the locations I had a reservation at (it switched from the initial pickup location when I was at the pickup location). Very disappointed and will likely not use Uhaul again based on the experience with the customer service representative on the phone. The individual at the site location was amazing, however, the fact that our reservation was not kept is extremely disappointing.Adrienne R.

The person at the counter was very helpful, but she was as frustrated as I was with the UHaul software problems. I reserved the truck online and got a confirmation online. When I logged into 24/7 at the rental location it showed I had no reservations. The woman at the counter was able to pull up my reservation and point out the truck but could not give me the keys because they were in a locked box that I had to access through 24/7. It took the better part of two hours and many phone calls to finally get the keys. It was very frustrating. No one at UHaul seemed able to address the problem.ERIC W.

When I opt to have moving blankets with my rental, please have them available. No one informed me that you were out and though I did appreciate the attempts by the u-haul representative to find some at other locations (also were out), I had to purchase blankets from Goodwill to use to protect my antiques for my move. THAT was totally inexcusable. Also, the original vehicle I was assigned had not been cleaned out and the cargo area was full of trash. Again, the u-haul representative was quick to assign me another vehicle, but it was frustrating to deal with that after dealing with the lack of blanket issue..Raymond G.

I live in Enumclaw, WA and we have two U-Haul locations I'm what would be considered a frequent flyer by renting U-Haul for moving, helping others move, picking up furniture, dump runs,etc. - I wouldn't do it any other way. I wanted to give a shout out to Vanessa at the Commerce St address in Enumclaw, WA - Love her! Every time I rent from her, i feel it's more than just great customer service. I reserved this rental back in July, for pickup at a uhaul store, blocks from my house in the Renton Highlands. Not only did I not receive a call from a representative a week before, days or hours before to confirm the rental, upon arrival, I was told my rental was not theres instead an hour away. After hearing of this, I received a confirmation text after the fact, that my rental was in another city an hour away. Having heard this, only option that representative told me was for me to go and pick it up, and to get there before someone else picks it up. I am appalled by the lack of customer service, as well as not having my rental at the location requested months in advance, and no one providing any compensation during this. I had to waste two hours out of my moving day because of this. For an almost $500 rental, this is a piss poor experience. I'm not expecting a full refund, but there was no remorse or concern given. Just a, "oh well" you can go pick it up. Having to already travel from Seattle to San Diego was long enough, this was a terrible start to my move. Please contact me back please.Brandon B.

We arrived after they had closed. I was returning the truck two days early. When I called the number on the rental contract, I was told that I had to go through the process of returning the truck through my online account port. The cell service is horrible in that area and I had trouble connecting to your website. The person on the phone was VERY INEFFICIENT and NOT HELPFUL. They put me on hold and I was left on hold 20 minutes. In that time, I called my husband and he drove back to the business and we were able to complete the check in. However, this was unacceptable. No one came back on the phone and had he not come back for me I couldn't have checked the truck back in. I was 1 hour from our destination and it wasn't acceptable to drive the truck there and then back again the next day. I'm quite disappointed in the way customer service handled this (rather they ignored it!)Tod T.

I returned my trailer with 12 hours to spare (after hours) and they charged me for an extra day because they checked it in late. I returned it at 10 p.m. and it was due at 10 a.m. the next morning. They apparently didn't notice it until the next afternoon and charged me. Uhaul tried to call them to get them to reverse the charge, but were unsuccessful.Robert K.

It was a nightmare. It took over an hour to do the paperwork. They had one woman working there. She took us out, pointed to our truck and dolly and said there you go. I am handy capped and there was nobody there to help me load our vehicle on the dolly. I had no idea how to do it let alone the physical ability to do it. It took me over an hour to load our vehicle on the dolly. It took several days for me to recover from that. I asked her for a copy of the contract and she said she couldn't give me one because the company had already pulled it off her system. We almost lost our vehicle off the dolly because it wasn't attached correctly. We had to stop at another Uhaul in Auburn, Wa to get them to attach our vehicle properly to the dolly. They had to re-du the contract because it was all messed up. The Auburn location was great, but by the time we got everything straightened out, it took us half a day to get the Uhaul. It was a very frustrating experience for me and my wife.Mont S.
