The self checkin process is painfully slow and requires too much from someone who packed and then unpacked a truck. I was tired and the pictures are pushing the renter too far, I would not have done it it was cold out, or rainy. This was the first location I had to do this or be charged. I have been renting uhaul's every weekend or more for the past 3 monthsJoseph R.

Even though I messed up the whole â€œcontact free pickupâ€ by going inside, the owner of the facility was super friendly and helped walk me through the process. The truck was super clean and ran great, I was able to get the job done and when I returned the truck early I even ended up paying less than I expected. Totally happy and will be renting from here again next time I need to move stuff!Matthew F.

The man was very rude to me . He also overcharged me . I just will never go back . He had me on a time schedule but took forever to take down all my information. He told me my time started at 2:30 & had to be back by 4:00 but was still taking my information down at 2:30 so he took some of my time which was unfair to me. He also kept stopping to help other who came there into the place AFTER me WHILE I was on a time schedule. Just very unprofessional & stupid . Wouldn't Recommend this place to nobody .ARIEYANA C.

After being sent to two other locations for my guaranteed 24/7 pick-up, I arrived at this location to again find a truck was unavailable for out of hours pickup. I had to rearrange my entire schedule so I could wait until 9:00, when the location opened to get the truck. Upon arriving back at 9:00 I found the location still closed and dark. Someone did not arrive until 9:15 to open the store and then told me to wait 10 min for him to be ready. So finally at 9:30 I was able to pick-up my truck, which had been guaranteed for 6:30 that morning.Jonathan M.

The owner of this location will do anything to make more money off of you when you come to grab your keys since it's also a print shop/convenience store. I could tell there was no â€œcredit limitâ€ when I tried to buy a few snacks as well when he said the credit limit was â€œ$10â€ but it was okay if it was a little under if you know what I'm saying. We ordered two dozen blankets, but they did not have it there. Then they found six blankets in another Uhaul - so we got those. But, no one takes the initiative to get us extra blankets, Now we may never get the credit for the 18 blankets that we never got! There's a lack of coordination between the Uhaul facility and online orders.Thomas K.

This location was not good. I showed up at my pick up time and the owner of the store didn't show up until 15 minutes into my rental time. He then told me that my online check in was not valid and he had to do it himself On his computer; after 30 more minutes of his computer crashing, he checked on his phone and realized my online check in was valid and gave me the keys to the truck. During this process I tried asking to extend my rental time but the truck was booked for the rest of the day and he refused to give me a discount for my limited rental time. Instead of have the truck for my scheduled 2 hours I only was able to use the truck for just over an hour.Hunter F.
This was not the location I was going to pick up from. We had to drive 45 minutes away to pick up our rental. Which I was not very happy about it was a waste of time and on top of that extra gas I had to put in.Jennifer C.
The online process of making a reservation is very misleading. You should not be able to pick a location and time unless it can be guaranteed. Also making an account online was difficult as pages timed out and the credit card put online was not used and was needed on site so not sure what was the point of doing that online. These made for a confusing and last minute changes needed for my move.EDWARD B.

I was exactly 1 mile over the allowed miles and the guy actually charged me .40 cents. Extremely petty in my opinion.Anthony C.
The person helping me took nearly an hour to get the paperwork done. Mostly because he could not figure out the system. Then could not find the keys for the truck and had to spend nearly 45 minutes looking for them. The truck I rented turned out not to be available so they gave me a smaller truck. Which would not have been an issue but I had asked if it still had a loading dock since we were moving very large heavy items. I was told it did...it did not. I had also paid for a furniture dolly that was not available. Most of this can be over looked, but losing the keys to the truck for nearly 45 minutes was not good. They should at least know where the keys are for the rentals. Would love my money back for the furniture dolly...but I fear trying to do a refund might overwhelm this place.Marissa C.
They messed up my reservation, gave me the wrong truck, charged me the higher amount for the wrong truck instead of the lower amount for the truck I actually reserved. I showed them my confirmation email proving they had messed up my reservation. That didn't help. Customer service was terrible. I would avoid this location if at all possible, and maybe avoid U-Haul all together.Gregory N.

The worst experience. Reserved a truck for sunday and waited 30 minutes for the owners to open shop and they never arrived. Had several people waiting that drove an hour away to help me move and had no truck. Totally unprofessional. The owners on anne glidden rd and hillcrest rd in dekalb illinois 60115, should be immediately forbidden to operate uhaul because they represent the name. Absolutely terrible experience.BRET E.

I was the first uhaul customer at that location. Having said that; the problem was IT related. I answered all the questions at the time of the online reservation and I had to do it again because they did not have the info. They had the reservation but not the details.Robert S.
