The person working at the counter (I forget her name) was extremely nice and helpful, some of the best customer service I've seen lately. Although it seems unfair/complicated that she's having to take care of Uhaul while also having to tend to the gas station counter all by herself without a second person, particularly when she has to step outside to give us the trailer and leave the store unattended for a brief time. Not her fault and she still did great.

They really gave me a UhAul on E and charging $57 dollars because I returned it on E. And the 3-5 business day return for deposits is BOGUS. I returned my UhAul 5 days ago (before the return day) and now they’re telling me it’ll be another 3-5 business day. Straight trash. Would NEVER recommend.

They had no clue what they were doing there. Took me 45 min to get my equipment. Most of that was them not knowing how to check me in. Then they couldn’t remove extra charges for Dollie’s and pads that I didn’t need. I had to call for a refund. Worst rental experience I’ve ever had. I won’t be using U-Haul again.

The trailer did not work out for my vehicle and the manager would not refund the money or help me with another rental. Would never recommend this location to anyone. Terrible!!!!

It took me over an hour to officially obtain the trailer and I even had to travel between two locations due to the lack of proper supplies.

The trailer i reserved online was not present at the location but another of same size was so they told me to take this one and they would correct the inventory error. The trailer began vibrating, whinning and screeching about thirty miles out and I was very worried that the wheel bearings were going out on the passenger side wheel. I took a sofa to Smithville and was not able to return with other furniture that I had planned due to the mechanical issue. The trailer was not repaired by the next day when I had to return.

I was charged extra. Not sure why? I’m guessing because of mileage. Man never said. He started telling me I was suppose to turn it in that morning. I just picked it up that morning. I was turning it in early.

This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. The hold amount on my credit card was for 36 hours when I requested 12 hours. The furniture dolly I requested was not on the truck i only received 7 furniture blankets but was charged for 10.I was sent to another location to get the furniture dolly.So this decreased my time and increased my mileage. Upon return of the rental the store clerk was not knowledgeable on the return process therefore I attempted to return the truck at another location but was told I would be charged an additional $200 to drop off at another location than I rented from. I had to process the return myself. I also filled the gas tank with the amount of gas I received when I picked up the rental truck but was still charged an additional $13 for gas. I will not rent from Uhaul again this was a very stressful experience.

I reserved a car hauler at 1000 Altamere for 9:00 am 11/1 23. Both trailers they had were out of service due to lights and emergency brakes cable. Cus order # 20016319 . The person on the desk found another trailer at 3204 Altamere ( Exxon station). I drive there. They had the trailer bit I had to do all the hookup by myself. I returned the trail or and disconnected it by myself . Cusorder# 20016319 ( same as other location. The initial charge was $60.45. ( no insurance) the charge at 3204 Altamere was $69.25. Thdy charged me insurance when I specifically said no to insurance. I had to hang around while they said they had to take pictures to check for damage ( none ). All four employees just stood around doing nothing. After 10 minutes I asked if I could leave and one of them finally answered and said yes. This was not a very professional acting day for U-Hual. Screw up at 1000 Altamere and 3204 Altamere. I would like a refund of the $8.00 for insurance I ask to get and the Less than 6 hour price!

This was the worst experience of my life. 3 weeks to get the deposit back because the pickup location had zero idea how to close out the contract. Picking up the truck was a dumpster fire, dropping it off, girl told us “I’ve never done uhaul before so I can’t help you” just awful all around
