You cannot drop off the U-Haul there and when I got there and asked attended were to drop trailer he said do you see any U-Haul here? And told me I have to drop it at vacant lot? Blocks away I will never use them again

Diane ParkerWe completed all of the necessary "paper work" at 390 S. Maple Ave. Then we had to drive to a second location to pick up the uhaul trailer. The trailer had a pad lock on it. We had to drive back to Maple Ave to get a key for the pad lock. There wasn't a key. We went to our local service station and paid $10 to have the lock cut off.

Edward ShielThe return location for the truck was changed without checking with me, and my vehicle was parked at the original return location, causing a significant amount of extra effort on my part. In addition, I was charged $40 for an additional day, which was not accurate since the truck was returned the very evening of the day I rented it. To say that I am not happy with U-Haul is putting it mildly.
Roy HoogerhydeAt the time of pick up my rental the truck was cover in snow beside the lot where they keep it was also cover of snow and very icy/ slippery. Keep in mind snow two days before. The interior of the car was also dirty . I had to remove the snow myself in a very dark lot .

Robert HarleyThe fuel level upon pick up was incorrectly listed as 2/3 full but was actually only 5/9 full. Since the lot is remote and I had to pick up the vehicle in an unmanned lot, I took a photo of the gas gauge. I put gas in the vehicle and returned it at the exact same level (5/9) but was still charged almost $10 for refueling. I texted the number I was provided by the facility and I sent before and after photos of the gauge and mileage. I’ve asked for a response and a credit multiple times but I am being ignored. My next step is to contact Amex to contest the charge and to start writing negative reviews for the facility and U-Haul on all review sites.
Todd NewmanChanged my reservation twice. When I got there took 45 minutes to get van and then I had to go to location 5 mins away where trucks were kept.

GABRIEL ANZURES HERNANDEZYou get to the small gas station and realize there is no parking there. I make my way to the attendant and they show you a piece of paper with a smudged address and non-visible map with a location to drive to to park the truck. The location looks like a house driveway with absolutely no signage for U-Haul. I picked up truck from a different location than this location which I chose as my drop off so I was not familiar with the location and it’s late at night and not in a great area. We drove past many times and went back to gas station where attendant was unhelpful. Called roadside assistance who was only aware of the gas station address so could not point me in the right direction to park the car. Eventually saw another U-Haul go in to the small driveway that looks associated with a house and followed. I’m in a 26 ft U-Haul and driving on what’s equivalent to a narrow house driveway with old abandoned non-U-Haul cars along the way. Went back 500 ft from street to a chained lot with U-Hauls that are not visible from the main street and without signs from the street indicating U-Hauls should park there. My 26 ft U-Haul truck barely fits but after some trying I get it in the lot. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. U-Haul should remove this franchise.

Jeffrey ConfortiThe location is not the one posted. The actual location is difficult to find and shown by a hand drawn map! It is isolated and if you are returning after sundown, please know that it is dark and unadvisable for anyone traveling alone. I would not recommend this location.
JENNIFER ELLISONThe online pick up process is horrendous. Not only are you required to go to the wrong address, the confirming of details took too long. Then I was advised to go to another location to pick up the van. Quite ridiculous. In addition, the add ons I requested were not in the van. Definitely wouldn’t go through the online process again

Deandre IngramI was disappointed when I got charged for fuel when I put gas in to replenish what we used. I returned the truck with 1/4 tank just as i received it, yet my receipt showed that it was slightly below 1/4. I had to drive from the gas station in another town to the drop-off location in Glen Rock, which, of course, would use some of the gas that I put in it. It is poor customer service, and I don't believe that I should have been charged $48.00 for the VERY little gas that I used.

Peter KimNothing. The woman working the rental counter was very experienced. She thoroughly explained everything. The experience was streamlined and I was on my way to the storage yard to pick up my trailer in several minutes. I have read reviews where people complained of having to go off site to pick up their rental and getting lost going there, Seriously ? The yard is approximately 1/4 mile from the office. There is a detailed map with photos taped to the counter of what you will see at any turn along the way. The rental agent thoroughly explained the route and a copy of the map and photos are on the back of the U-HAUL Equipment Contract given to you before you leave the office. Quite honestly if you can not find the yard.... with a MAP..... you have no business behind the wheel of a vehicle of any size and probably couldn't find your way out of a small round room with one door. I would gladly use this location for rental needs in the future.
Timothy JeffasI needed a 6x12 trailer. My tractor is 5ft.wide, but the opening gate is only 4.5 ft. Wide. So I had to take my tractor apart to get it on the trailer. Please inform your customers of that. Thanks
Bruce Abmathe lady giving me my truck was 20 mins late. and gave me a map with wrong directions. it took me over 60 mins to get my truck so i was out an hour of moving time.

Garrett ShueFor one, the location I had for pick up in Glen Rock, NJ NEEDS TO BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY. The address takes you to a gas station that’s BLOCKS away from all uhauls. When you go to the ACTUAL location where the uhauls are located you can’t even check in because it’s not “the accurate location”. I had to drive all the way back to the INCORRECT address where the gas station was and then drive all the way back to the actual Uhaul site. Verification gave me so many issues starting with my “headshot photo”, I had to retake my headshot photo multiple times even though I had good lighting and showed my complete face. Because of this delay it took 40 minutes to an HOUR to check in and get my truck. Lastly, I purchased a trolly with my reservation and it was NOT given to me or in my truck at all. Drop off was much easier at my destination. This experience makes me reconsider using the service again the next time I move
