The check-out by phone was frustrating. There are no helpful instructions on how to use it. I was not aware my phone was turned off for the camera app, so I could not take pictures of the mileage and gas to submit. Better instructions and helpful hints would be appreciated.mike S.

This location helped me unhitch the trailer but I was charged for an entire 2nd day when I was 45 minutes late. I asked when I ordered the UHaul and was told it would be prorated by the hour if I was late.Jennifer K.

The young lady that helped us Sunday 7/21/19 was awesome. Very friendly , new what she was doing , and answered all of my silly questions. I never had the need to rent one way , and she made it very simpleMark S.
I will not be renting from this company again from you. The delivery address this change was pushed me 45 minutes out of my way. Several calls and bouncing around to several different representatives at the headquarters gilded zero results. I ended up having to find the location myself different from what I was initially told. Also I was quoted $79 for my rate I was charged $99 for the trailer. This is the second rental I've had from U-Haul this year the first rental blew a tire five minutes into the trip it was clear the tire was bad before I even left and they did not do appropriate maintenance on the trailer. Customer service was of absolute zero help on multiple phone calls. When I asked they move a trailer to the desired location I was told that's not something that is done. I find it hard to believe there is an a truck available since you rent trucks, that couldn't transfer the trailer to my desired location. I will not be recommending you to my friends family or otherwise an intent to take to social media as well to let people know if my experience.kevin H.

This is not an issue with the franchisee but corp in that reservation as made could not be honored at location selected but required driving ~30 miles to a second. This has happened the last two times have used U Haul services and is challenging if will a third time.Mark N.

The truck we got was filthy in the back, we spend $300 a week on Uhaul rentals and are tired of getting beat up, dirty trucksGus K.

I had to wait for 30 minutes to pick up my rental because there was a couple in front of me who walked in and wanted to rent a truck and buy supplies. There was only one employee working, so I got a much later start than I intended. Upon arrival to return the truck I was told there was no one from the Uhaul side and I had to wait. This was not possible for me so I left the keys and asked them to email me a receipt or call me. When I got the receipt the next day the charges were incorrect. I was charged for items I never got. I had reserved the dollies online but was not given them in the store. By time I realized I had forgotten them, I was already across town. I decided to do without them instead of going back and dealing with the slow costumer service. When I called the next day I was told in order to get the money back it had to be cash, picked up in the store. I used a credit card and I need the money to go back on the card because the truck was rented on our social services agency company card. The truck itself was noisy and seemed in need of repair. The cup holders were also dirty. An employee did not check the truck before I left or after I returned. I have rented other Uhauls before and I have never had an experience as difficult and as disappointing as this.Carolyn Y.
The only problem I had was I went to my local uhaul got my rental set up in Champagne Illinois, got up there and had to drive to Lincoln Illinois. Needless to say I got what I needed and thanks. I will recommend uhaul to othersJames W.

The location was not convenient for us. We reserved a truck in Bloomington. However a day before we needed the truck we were told bthey didn't have any available so we had to drive 45 minutes away. The cost of our reservation went up because of the extra mileage we were charged. We weren't happy about the change in location on such short notice.Scot Y.

I know that this is just a neighborhood location but their hours could be longer but they were the only location within 40miles that had a 6 x 12 trailer available. Would have loved to have had a jack available as an accessory to rent. I almost had to unhook it with the trailer loaded and just lifting it off the ball was going to be impossible for 1 person.Bob B.

We are not 100% sure the transmission is good in the vehicle - made several jerking motions when putting the truck into reverse or drive (without anything being loaded). May be worth addressing before being issued to another customer.Keith A.

The Lincoln facility was very accommodating and courteous. Whether it was UHaul Springfield or UHaul nationwide the idea of making a customer drive 50-75 miles to pick up a vehicle they have already paid a premium for is ludicrous. The customer should be compensated the same amount they are charged by UHaulALLEN D.
