I will not be using u-haul again because of the Lake Charles office on highway 14. that's all I got to say. Y'all don't want to know what I really want to say. The one in DeRidder was good and the Winfield office was great. but I will never ever go back to U-Haul againBETH M.

The cargo trailer didn't have a lift with it which we were told when we dropped it off at the second location that it should have had. Other than that everything was perfect for our move.Amanda D.

We did everything online. Which was a very quick and easy process. The only issue was I rented an appliance dolly. When we got there, they didn't have one. So they took that rental off and I rented 2 utility dollies instead.Jody S.

Make 1800GOUHAUL a bit more helpful. I contacted customer service because I could not get a cell signal due to the recent hurricane. The lady told me over and over that she just didn't know what to tell me. Offered no assistance whatsoever!! Very disappointing!!Johnathan T.

This business was in an area that was hit by a hurricane! There was major damage to a lot of structures and unfortunately, this drop-off location was one of them! We had concerns about leaving the trailer at this location.Keo S.

So to start. The truck was horrible. It sounded like it was literally gonna crap out I could barely get it to go and the breaks were screwed up too. Then. The guy who was there has to be the most miserable person I've ever met. If he smiled he might pass out. He wasnt just plan rude but he made me feel like I was such a problem. So it stormed the day I needed this truck and we couldnt get it all out. In the rain and ruin my stuff. So we had to return it the next morning instead( which I completely understand we were in the wrong however, I cant control mother nature. And it wouldnt of taken us so long to get back if we could actually go over 50 miles an hour. And they charged me a few of 150! I already spent over 300.00 with yall. He was a jerk about it. Never using uhaul again this is bs! $150 fee for being late?Mary F.

I did not receive a call to confirm. My original location was somewhere else. I called them and they were the ones that told me y'all switched it to fortune storage. However when I got to fortune storage, the app wanted me to still go to the original location. So I had to make an entire new reservation the next day, and it didn't work at first either. Finally got my truck 10 hours later than my reservation was planned. Furthermore, the truck share 24/7 and customer support was TERRIBLE AT BEST, if I was able to get anyone on the phone. They weren't able to even help me. Just transferred to another line that never answered.nathan L.

Change store hours. When you work and cannot get there whenever you decided to close for that day. The hours of operation should be set and customers should not be punished with extra days cost because you decided to be open or not to be open whenever you feel like it.Sarah E.

The agent wasn't very friendly. When we got there the truck hadn't been cleaned out, nor had it been checked out for damage. The pickup location was an hour away from our home. We opted for the additional insurance for the truck and tow dolly. We were half way to our home when a lady rear ended my husband and daughter, who was towing the dolly. She totaled the dolly, plus took out 3 other vehicles. It took me over 2 hours to get through to someone about the accident. I also contacted the location and he didn't know what to do about replacing the dolly. He gave me the impression that he didn't want to rent us the other tow dolly. He referred us to a location that was 1 1/2 hours away from us, from accident sight and a 2 hours drive back home. Once I got in touch with the insurance company, we were given a Auto hauler at no extra charge to use for our move.Patricia W.
Quote and explain the mileage fees. DON"T quote one price then on check in change the rate. I called dispatch and have been treated rudely by the manager Zachary Gradney. DIDNOT even try to help nor seem to understand my concerns. I have rented from UHAUL on several other occassions BUT will most likely look other place. Three times I have rented a truck from this location for in town moves, now I have returned a trailer to this location I rented in Louisiana. The pickup time requested and confirmed was 12:30 pm! We even received a confirmation email the day before pickup confirming the date and time. We arrived at the pickup spot at 12:05 and there was a sign in the door that said â€œsorry we are closed.â€ The note on door said they were closed for lunch from 12-1. If they knew they had a confirmed pickup at 12:30, we should have been contacted. No one did contact us and we had to wait until the employee returned from lunch at 1:08. We were on a time schedule and this out us behind!Anthony M.

The truck we requested was not there at the time we requested and we had to wait an hour for the truck to be returned. When equipment is not on site it would be helpful to infor customers and advise them to call before coming to make sure the equipment is where it should be. While the equipment not being there was not the fault of Fortune I should have been informed about the correct availability of the equipment. I was inconvenienced as well as the people helping me.Tammi H.
I'm really not happy that we had to use our gas and time to go here to pick up the uhaul after I put a reservation at a Crowley Louisiana location which is where I lived then the uhaul was on empty had to put $80 to fill it up of my own money i couldve used on our trip then it was closed had to call some one to come and thankfully after putting us way behind schedule we were readyCrystal B.
