Ensure the van have fuel in them. The truck I rented was basically empty with only about 20 miles before it was out of gas…I advised the staff of the situation and all they can do is say sorry!! I cost me an additional 80 dollars for the rental because of the gas..

Would recommend if it was a close location. The person I spoke with for the reservation was cordial. Picking up on Sunday was too complicated. The truck interior was very dirty from food being eaten. The back area was very dirty and nasty. There were personal hygiene things left on the floor some used. We made sure to clean it out when we finished and we also took some of the food stuff out of the cab. I don’t know if y’all charge extra if y’all have to clean the interior of a truck, but I believe I deserve a discount

I preordered a 15 foot truck. AFTER I arrived at the fun jumps location (different than the original Kaliste Saloom location I requested) at the appropriate time, I was informed that I would only be able to get a 10 foot truck that happened to already be on the property. I had to make multiple trips and therefore paid more because Uhaul didn’t uphold their end of the bargain . Unacceptable and disappointing.

The company needs to make sure that requested items ordered are in the truck. It delayed my move for hours. There were no dollies and furniture pads in the truck. My card was charged for them. I would like my refund for that amount. This was a very difficult move. Plus that particular business was closed on Saturday. I wanted to do the business in the store. When I got to the location after contacting U-Haul, I was told it was set up for remotely. I never do U-Haul pickup transactions remotely. Very disappointing. This shorten my move time and I didn't want to pay extra for extended time.

Nothing wrong with the truck or location but I was told to leave 5/8th of gas and when I actually got into the truck it was empty. Meaning I had no gas to start and had to fill up before I could even use the truck. So much extra money spent that didn't need to.

Unfortunately the trailer that I rented was not suitable for my load. I notified the rental location within 20 minutes after I picked up the trailer and let them know that I was on my way to return it. On return, I was told that UHaul would charge for a full day rental even though the trailer could not be used and was quickly returned. Location staff were understanding but I was told that financial decision on charges were out of their hands. Disappointing that a full day charge was incurred.

We reserved a 20' truck 3 week in advance of our date needed. We received a confirmation for the truck at the 3700 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy location in Lafayette, LA. On the date of the move, we were told that the reservation had been moved to a different location (3136 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA). We had not been notified of this move. Upon arriving to the new location, we were told it had not been reserved. They also told us we could only get a 15', when we had a confirmation on a 20'. This delayed our move.

No room to park the big truck at a very busy area , no one was there to help, or signage to instruct drop off customer what to do or where to park, and no one answered the phone number on the contract. They need to let people know that they close at 4 and put on the contract where to put the truck if no one is there

But only because of fun jumps staff. Had to go to U-Haul place on ambassador caffery to rent a dolly. They said they couldn’t rent to me because I had picked my truck up at a different location. And then they said they also couldn’t rent me one because it was a one-way move. So I had tcouldn’t rent to me because I had picked my truck up at a different location. And then they said they also couldn’t rent me one because it was a one-way move. So I had to go back to the place the jump place and they said that was BS, I was very disappointed in this, and I know that they were lying at the ambassador Caffrey place

I reserved an appliance dolly and the location didn’t have one. They called the nearest actual U-Haul location and they didn’t have one as well. Customers should be advised prior to picking up the rental when items aren’t available

When I picked up my U-Haul, the check engine light was on. Tried to contact the location. Can I get a hold of anybody multiple times when I got my receipt from U-Haul found out they added extra charges U-Haul when I refund the money because the location will not refund the money, even though they’re the ones that charged me the extra money And I did not get a receipt from the location saying my U-Haul was checked in and so I contacted U-Haul about the situation

Trailer extremely worn down. It however, worked well. Hours of operation at this location is 10 am till 4 pm....very difficult to get in and out the city with these limited hrs. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

reserved truck and auto transport, only truck was available. i had to drive 30 minutes to another uhaul location to get an auto transport. reservation was made 3 days prior to my need, would not recommend to a friend.

Was supposed to be open for drop off until 5, no one was on site at 4:45. Called, was told UHaul section of the business closed at 4 after we rushed to get there to have in person check out. Was charged $25 cleaning fee! Total bogus charge & exactly what I was trying to avoid by doing in person check out instead of just leaving it unattended. Have complained to UHaul with no response.

I was charged out of nowhere for a second day that I did not schedule. I was very clear that the U-Haul was for six hours. Not 24. The truck was returned 5 hours into the rental with the fuel level it was picked up with.

What I was originally quoted for versus the actual bill tripled in size. I definitely would not rent for this place ever again. I took off safe move and some how I was charged 28 dollars for it when it was not on my reservation which I guessing it was added on at the register. So from 40 dollars to 110 dollars.

The guy seemed friendly enough when he realized we were there after ringing the bell for service. Then acted like he would check in the uhaul before we left (but didn't) we were a little confused and asked him if anything else was needed and he said no. Just asked if everything was there and clean. We said yes everything was the way we received it....then got charged a cleaning fee when there was nothing dirty or needed to be cleaned. We literally used it for a 4 hour window to move a washer and dryer. So ridiculous!!! Will NEVER use this location again, complete scam

Horrible experience. Website let me reserve the truck to be picked up at 7:30 am, I get there to pick it up and am then told I’m not allowed to pick it up until 10! Threw off the entire day and I didn’t get to finish moving in time for drop off.

Filed an official complaint with UHaul against the site location…never received a phone call the evening before, as indicated on/line, and site owner did not care to discuss this. Our rental truck was not ready when we arrived for pick-up, and we could not use the 24/7 feature because the site had not checked the truck in from the previous rental. I had to ask to extend the return time since we got a late start. First time Using UHaul, but sites like this one definitely give than a bad name. I will NEVER use this site again!
