Vehicle cargo area and exterior was dirty upon pickup, interior was relatively clean. It said return clean to avoid a $25 cleaning fee. I did not move anything that would make it dirty and was still charged $25.

HERSCHELLE WI reserved a 20’ truck. They didn’t have one so they put me in a 26’ truck…with no additional charge which I appreciate. The problem is that the 26’ truck is much harder to drive and gets horrible gas mileage. The other problem is they said there was 9/16 of gas in the tank. When I took off in the truck and looked at the gas gauge there was 1/2 tank. I put in 16 gallons of gas and took it back to the 1/2 mark when I arrived in Bartlesville. I returned the truck in excellent condition along with the 24 blankets, 12 of which were still in the plastic. So, now I see that the dealer in Bartlesville has charged me for 5 gallons of gas at over $5 a gallon. Pretty disappointed in the folks at UHaul. I certainly won’t use them again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else.
