Charged for a rental that I did not make
Jonathan HSmall area to drop off after hours. Process had key drop off but could have had better instructions as to what to do with the contract. Area is harder to get to and the space was limited due to 2 other trucks also being dropped off

Christopher BThe truck I rented was not really in that good of shape, tires were pretty worn down. Wind shield was very dirty and their was no washer fluid, it wash completely empty , their was a couple large wide sticky Look like sticker glue on windshield For maybe a large sign that was taken off. And some small cracks in windshield. Large rip in driver seat, cracks on dash and devices. Seem like truck was hard on gas, not sure but I tried to drive in the green gas quality range. I went I think 117 miles, put in 12 gallons, average 9.75 miles,I was Just moving some kitchen cabinets, maybe that's normal I don't know. What do you think if you rented this truck ? 1 more suggestion a truck user manual would be really nice to have in the truck if possible. Now on the good side of company. I was glad trucks were available with no prior notice. Your employee staff was very kind and helpful and efficient through the process and customer support. The process of renting the truck was a breeze, I would rent from you again and strongly recommend it to others.

Michael FProcess could have been a bit smoother. Woman was nice. Had some computer issues that slowed down the process. Had to get a maintenance guy to open the back door because it was frozen. Also, when they pulled the truck out, they left it running, which burns fuel that I need to replace. Don't do that. Also, I am sick of having to verify stuff through the app, etc.

James RWe started the pickup on the app but it wouldn't complete. Fortunately, this location had people on site and they took care of it inside. We have rented from an unmanned location in Evans City, PA in the past and that would have been unacceptable. Maybe look into the reliability of the app. Otherwise it was perfect!

Mark KWorst trailer I have rented from you. Dirty, rusty, and poorly maintained. The sliding door was so rusty that it barely opened. The decals on the outside were peeling off. Overly very unsightly, and not a credit to your reputation.
Joseph HWould recommend that the staff have information on where boxes and packaging materials could be disposed of. Had the go to the local landfill rather than a recycling center.
Darrell SA walk through of after hours checkout would have been nice. The drop off lot is a little isolated. I would have liked to get through that more quickly.
Joanna SThe fact that the estimated milage was NOT readjusted upon return (67 miles LESS then estimated) and money for less milage was not credited, was NOT anticipated or appreciated. I view this as unfair. The return location was excellent and they made the return simple. Money back was expected but did NOT occur. Robert BYour phone sign up and verification is horrible. Agonizing. Won’t let me focus phone on drivers license was blurry (automatically takes it). Had to do 4 times. Verification process froze up repeatedly. Had to start over ( had 5 bars of signal) wasted almost an hour of my time. Was late picking up friends to help move. Ruined day.

MARTIN SThis is probably my third time here and I was very pleased with everyone there. Although I did see a problem with the bill when it came in my email I guess I should have gone inside to get a bill. The bill was $30 higher than what we agreed on when I picked it 11/15/23
Robert FOur truck was dirty upon pick-up. It had leftover plastic garbage in the bak. It also was missing a dolly and the blankets we requested. We were charged extra for a dolly and blanket that were not on the truck and have not received a refunded amount
DEMI CYou need to hire some new UX/UI designers. I used the app on my phone to pick up and drop off the truck and it was extremely cumbersome.

John KTo start, I was told the 26’ was the only truck that had a ramp. I asked two different employees and both said 26’ only. So I opted for the larger truck and I only needed to move 4 large file cabinets, but needed the ramp, so my truck was way oversized. When I got there I seen the smaller trucks had the ramp or I would’ve gotten that one but I was “stuck.” Then, it took us 40 min to “Get my truck” through the app. I literally hated this long annoying process. I work w computers and apps daily and found to totally cumbersome. I’d rather deal with an actual human. When we were on our way back, I texted through chat to ask if we had to add fuel back in the truck. (Nothing anywhere told us that we had to add fuel at end.) They told me to fill back to half only. Well, when you fill a truck to half you have to keep stopping, taking nozzle out and turning truck on to keep checking you’re not going over. Why aren’t you just having customers fill it all the way up? I was pretty disappointed with the whole process from start to finish. It added unnecessary stress we really didn’t need.

WALTER DAdvise customers that when renting a truck larger than 14,000 GW they buy insurance coverage. Personal insurance does not cover any vehicle larger than 14,000 lbs GW. Though I was offered insurance on a 26ft truck rental I was not advised by the U Haul representative of the probable personal liability if I refused the U haul insurance. That advice would have compelled me to purchase the renters insurance and would have been positive customer service.

John BAll of the online and in-app verifications and multiple steps to get the vehicle out of the parking lot and check the vehicle back in, perhaps you should click clients know that they should plan an extra 30 minutes for that process. This is for corporate U-Haul not for the local U-Haul franchise that I worked with. They were fantastic!

Dean WThe truck I was assigned was the oldest, most beat up truck I’ve ever received from U-Haul. The side were completely scratched up, the seats inside were ripped, and the side fairings were all dented up and large pieces of them were torn off. I was embarrassed to be seen in it in my new neighborhood.
