Very helpful staff and truck was ready when promised, as well as the moving blankets and hand truck. Highly recommend this location and would definitely go back again if I need another uhaul.

We filled the uhaul to a half tank before driving it back to the drop off location after hours. When we got there, it was one tick below half tank. The next day I got a receipt for the uhaul and they charged us $122 for gas and they said it was less than 1/8 tank full!! I'm sorry but this is a scam. I called them to try to see why they charged us for gas and lied and said it was so low and no response. We have the receipt for the gas we got for it right before drop off.

Costumer service was great! There was hot air blowing from the engine onto drivers foot. It was extremely hard to keep my foot on the pedal. The air was super hot.

I feel bad giving this a poor rating, because the people I talked to were fine and the truck worked very well for me. The problems I had were all with the technology of the company as a whole. When I tried to schedule the pickup, I was unable to change the drop off to anything other than the place I picked it up at. I downloaded the UHaul App, but was unable to login to my account (or really do anything since it appeared to be broken on my phone). While using the truck, it took longer to move than I expected, thus I tried to increase the amount of time I could use the truck, but the website had no option to do this. I even called the place, but that I rented it from, but they were closed. I was also unimpressed that when it came time to pay, the only option was to pay or dispute the charges via text which was what I wanted, because I filled the tank up before I returned it, but it was not full when I got it. It was also not clear to me whether I need to fill the tank or not. It would have been better if I talked to someone or had an easier way to figure out if this was accounted for or not.

So I have to say the employee that assisted me was excellent. SHe was nice, thorough, and professional. The interior was not horrible needs a wipe down. A major issue is the amount I was charged. I was charged for a gas refill when I filled it up more than I received it. I received it a little over a quarter and filled it up to half a tank. I didn't take a picture and told the attendant. SHe was apologetic and provided me with a phone number to call U-Haul and explain my situation. Hopeuflly there were cameras to prove something that either someone took the car and drove it or opened the gas lid and stole the gas.

Deena and her son were extremely helpful! Uhaul corporate was a mess, they couldn't facilitate a payment by phone, re-directing us instead online, but that didn't work, so we used chat, and they couldn't figure it out, so chat told us to call and pay by phone. Corporate is a mess, but the dispatchers at Gilroy Muffler Brake Service Center are incredible! Can't thank them enough!
