Fix your system. It took me almost 3 hours past my pick up time to get my keys. I had to drive miles down the road to an open uhaul which didn't even know what they were doing! They finally figured it out and got me my code for the lock box but like I said it took me hours of waiting and trying to connect with customer service on the phone! Then you charge me $50!!!! I'm never using uhaul from you again!Etona E.

My initial experience traumatic. I did online sign up and was sent to ASAP Transport 15310 1st Ave Burie, Washington. (206-709-5658, 206-721-2900, 206-484 4345, 206-962-4507) They do not answer any of the numbers provided if you call or text. The address is like in an alley. The truck was there, did the online, but the lock would not open. We had men yelling at us to "Get the F**K out" as we tried to unlock the truck. Had to call on line, which was 25 min wait time, was transferred multiple times before we got anyone to assist us. It was traumatic. The men in the alley kept swearing at us and yelling, putting on loud music so we couldn't hear the phone. Being stuck in a filthy alley was nerve wrecking. When we were finally redirected to pick up a truck in 1407 Central Ave. Kent Washington, it was a totally different experience. The gentleman was very nice, helpful, had the truck immediately. The place was clean. The truck was clean and operational.Kathleen M.
Hello, I am writing to you almost one week after our rental, as I wanted to have a chance to minimize my anger and frustration. Let me attempt to discuss the problems we encountered with a one-day rental. I had reserved and paid for the rental on my Uhaul.com account, using my smartphone. It is a Samsung 10, so a very recent-vintage, powerful, reliable and reputable phone. My reservation and payment was taken without issue. I arrived at the Lake Oswego, OR location on SW McEwan Rd at 6:40am for my 6:30am rental time. I attempted to get our truck. At the time where I was asked to show my location, the website said it "could not locate me". My location was enabled on my phone and there was no issue on my phone's end. I called Customer Service. After a 15-minute hold, I spoke with a very pleasant person who likely asked me six different times if I weren't "sure" that my locations were allowed. I also was asked to walk the perimeter of the premises to "find coverage", even though I showed full coverage. I was then told that I needed to speak to a "technical support expert", and placed on hold for another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, my spouse attempted to get connected with his phone--the exact same make and model as my own--and was able to get the lock code to get the key to the truck. During the process, my spouse (who I had designated as the driver) sent a photo of his driver's license,Â the odometer on the truck, etc. What truly frustrates me is that, since photos were allowed as "evidence" for the rental, why no one let me take a photo of the location on McEwan so it could be verified! We got the truck, used it, then took it to the return location in Kent, WA. Again, my Samsung was not allowed access, but spouse's was. He followed the instructions given him on the website, which included using the padlock on the lift gate. We left it at the location long before the time it was due. The next day, I received a phone call from the owner of the storage facility in Kent, asking *me* for the combination to the padlock. He put forth that Uhaul told him to call us to get this info, and that they wouldn't release it! With immense discomfort, we gave him the combination. What happened??? If I were renting alone, and didn't have access to another phone, what would have happened? How could I have gotten the truck at the time I requested and prepaid? What on Earth happened so that a contractor of yours had to call and disturb a customer, putting them in the uncomfortable position of giving out information on an item they don't own? I am still smarting over the facts that I had to wait 1.5 hours to get our truck, then were put in a position of liability by giving information about *your* property. While most of me wants to say, "no harm, no foul", I do have an aspect that is frustrated about paying full price for a less-than-optimal experience. I would like to request a partial refund for my inconvenience, both on Sunday, 7/12 and Monday, 7/13. PJon H.
I got the truck with little to no gas. I filled it up and got screwed out of my gas. No one wants to have to stop and get gas multiple times in those big trucks.Lisa B.

The representative at the location was great. The mobile check in was not. At this particular location, cell and wifi service doesn't work well so it is nearly impossible to do mobile check in. We tried multiple times on three devices to do it and after 30 mins the representative said she would get it figured out herself so we wouldn't have to stay any longer. There needs to be other options for check-in in cases like this so the customer doesn't have to be charged extra or be inconvenienced.Matty E.
I won't ever book online again. You had my reservations all messed up and the location got changed and I got several phone calls with people verifying the wrong drop off location and date. One called late in the evening And had the drop off location all wrong and I knew it was because of the online registration because the guy at the Kent location seemed to have all the right information. Over all equipment was great customer service was not.Lisa B.

Absolutely my BEST EVER experience to rent a Uhaul van. We were in and out, with the van, within 15 minutes. Additionally, the office was super clean with free coffee or water. Excellent customer service! I'll never rent from any other location. Big shout out to Laura Jo!Kathryn P.

This location was excellent. Lara was friendly and made sure that I had the correct equipment for my move. She actually called me back the next day when I called to rent a cargo van and the facility was closed for the memorial day holiday. Excellent service.
