APP REQUIRED FOR PICKUP - Regardless of what you select (NOT Global C Store's fault - UHaul's fault) The store opened up late, past the time I reserved to pick it up. Not the location you'd want to to leave your car all day either, but nothing the store managers can do about that. They also had no idea that I was coming, which is on UHaul, NOT this store/management. My main frustration is with the UHaul system, and not letting me know that I would be needing the app to pick up the truck. I specifically selected in-store pickup, yet when the store finally opened up, I had to speak with 3 different people to finally get help from UHaul. Edie from UHaul was extremely helpful when I was finally put in touch with her. But not even knowing that I'd have to download the app, having to wait until the store opened (late), etc. made the entire move start an hour late. A simple email ahead of time would have saved all that hassle. It ended up being 3x+ more expensive than the "$30" rate they advertise online. Overall experience was meh. Could have been worse, but for $100 it should have been way better.
