The Truck was full of garbage and furniture. We called Uhaul about this and all they did was offer to waive the cleaning fee and tell us to put the garbage and furniture back in the truck when we were done. It was a giant inconvenience to try to deal with a truck full of garbage that wasn't ours. Then on top of it we were charged a cleaning fee.Cassandra C.

Fire this location as they are bullies and lied and said I stole their truck and the police were after me 12 hours after it was turned in with pictures sent to corporate. I was right not to trust y'all. Brought it back 24 hours late with Kevin's instructions. Hand written. I reported it to corporate first before it was late and still was harrassed when I explained I tried but due to getting it late, it cost storage the first night. I had a seizure but was threatened, so I was forced to hire someone, get a $100 storage and pay someone to move it, who was there. I got it with a 1/4 tank, and I returned it with half. What I was told by corporate, regional, and contractor were all different. The location defamed my character, saying the police were after me for stealing their truck and called me a liar TODAY AFTER they had the truck back over 12 hours. That's illegal and caused me mental distress and blacked out. I was wearing a heart monitor. I told them I blacked out. I disclosed. They didn't care. They shouldn't have rented to me and did and then I was harrassed for having to sit in their store waiting for them to upload documents I have proof I did at home and were received. These men ended up costing me more money than my stuff was worth. I was honest. They harassed me, lied about me, and threatened me.MARY H.

i drove 50 miles .i put $20 in it before drop off. You charged me another $30 for 6 gallons of gas.If those vans only get 10 miles to each gallon they probably need maintenanced.kelly S.

As with past experiences with U Haul, they have not failed to disappoint. First location was very helpful in finding a one way rental to save me money. First pick up location, at small neighborhood grocery, the clerk didn't even know I was coming. Called her boss. Received call from a Seattle with info that i needed to go to a different location to pick up. Only 5 miles. 2nd location, a liquor store, had other customers and U Haul is not a priority. Finally got the keys after 25 minutes. Clerk asked if i wanted a printed contract or email. I asked for email and the drop off location. Was told that was in the email. Started truck and noticed only 3/8 fuel level and posted sticker saying had to return with the same amount of fuel. On the way home, received multiple texts. After arriving home, read texts and contract. Contract said truck had 3/4 tank. I took pictures. Next morning loaded truck and went to gas station. Put fuel nozzle in and started.. Gas poured out from under truck. Shut off nozzle and looked. Someone had disconnected the filler tube from the fuel tank hose. After informing gas attendant, tried to call road side assistance. Automated voice said 55 minute wait. Fixed the problem my self and got on the road. Called Seattle number to explain situation. Person was of no help and was not concerned with the lack of service and faulty equipment. Not my first bad experience but will be my last.Paul H.

I rented van with less gas in it then what was recorded. I put more gas in it then what I left with. I have the receipt of 14 dollars total 3.9 gals of gas & drove 13 miles per contract. Then this was a one day rental & they charged me for 2 days. I've been over charged 26.95PATRICK M.

It was a good thing I was an hour late picking up the truck because they were still unloading it from making a store delivery. It smelled like cigarette smoke. The gas tank was on empty when I picked it up and had a half tank of gas left when I dropped it off and I did not get a rebate.Vickey R.

I reserved the truck for a 7:30 am pick up with the mobile pick up option. Got there, could not get a code to unlock the box. Store was closed. Called U-haul multiple times to try to get the code. Was disconnected 4 times after enormous hold times. They never could get me the code. Finally the store opened at 10:20. The attendant said the person closing on Friday must have forgot to put the key in the box - the key was still inside the store. Even if I had the code, there would have been no key. This caused me to waste over 3 hours of my day! Never again!!!!!KORY G.

Location has nothing to do with my frustration toward my U-Haul rental experience. The reservation process never explained that there'd be a chance I couldn't pick up the truck from the place I specified because it depended upon someone dropping it off a truck. The truck ended up being in the next town over and 2 hours later than I asked. When we arrived, the truck wasn't there. The previous renters didn't drop it off for another hour. Which pushed us to drive the next day. Then the appliance dolly I rented wasn't in the truck. We had to lift a fridge by ourselves. And I have yet to find a receipt of charges that match the charge to my credit card. I'm frustrated with the whole U-Haul process and will look for an alternative rental in the future if I need it.Tiffany A.

Relocate the pick up location. The third party was not helpful when it came to picking up and when I returned to drop it off they closed their store. No instructions posted on how to return the key. I am aware of how UHaul has a lock box so save the speech. I called the help line and that resulted in a pointless conversation about me being held liable if I leave the truck without dropping the key into a lockbox that doesn't exist. Or wait, maybe I can put it under the doormat, as your helpline suggested, so the truck can get stolen and I pay fines. As of now, I still have to figure out when to get the key back while I'm at work all day. So thank you for nothing.Elin D.
I had reserved an 8' bed pickup for 10am. I was at the location at 10am but no one was there for another 15-20 minutes. Upon trying to get the pickup I was told there was no pickup and I would have to rent a box truck which was more expensive in mileage and insurance and I was not comfortable driving. I ended up paying $40 more than I had intended to on a guaranteed reservation and offered no discounts or anything. I will be calling U-Haul to get the $50 reimbursement for the guaranteed reservation mixup.MISTY P.

There was no dolly as I indicated I needed in my reservation. And I was charged for renting it as well as full cost for it because I didn't return it. How can I return it if never got one. They also put there was a 1/2 tank in it when I picked it up when we clearly agreed there was a quarter of a tank. Please have someone call me.Michele S.

Not only was this beholder getting to site, but was filthy inside - which is amazing for a van that had 100 miles on it. The agent was as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Nothing signed either in or out on the rental. No walk around or clarification - which I guess is a problem for them more than the renter, but it's unethical and then worse, didn't listen to my simple answer â€œDo you want coverage insurance?â€ My response was NO I HAVE OT WITH MY CREDIT CARD - So here I am three days later still waiting for my $10.00 back that he decided he'd charge anyway!! I've rented from U-Haul dozens of times, this is by far the worse I've ever had to deal with. The fact that U-Haul won't step up and get my refund dealt with makes me want to take my future business elsewhere! Shameful location/agent and worse service from U-HaulPaul S.
