I'm not sure. We just finished a long hard trip with the old truck breaking down and they wanted to charge us for not folding the clean blankets we had rented. A rebate for all the inconvenience would have been more appropriate reaction. I'm not really favorably impressed.Scott H.

The U-Haul online services over-booked the car carriers of the location where I booked mine, and as a result, I was delayed in picking up the car carrier by a day. This put a serious damper on my schedule.Peter C.

We reserved for 830 am. No one would help us until almost 9 and we still had to have it back by the time we had set to return it. Then the truck had a lot of dirt on the seat. It was mud that had dried. Someone had smoked in it as well. I believe that is the only place that you can rent a pickup truck from. We need more in Safford AZ.Tom G.
Don't call a customer a day before they have to move and tell them you can't fulfill our reservation and that I need to drive a total of 5 hours to get another u haul. Ridiculous management in uhauls part. Last time I use you guys.Rashad H.

The people who helped us were great, and so was the location. The price for rental was outlandish - nearly triple what I paid to rent a trailer just one ft. shorter in height 2 years ago. We are going to buy a trailer so we don't have to rent from U-Haul any more. At these prices, the purchased trailer will pay for itself in 2-3 rentals.Alan G.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience. My Reservation was originally at located at a different facility and when I arrived they did not have the equipment that I reserved nor did I get a call or email from U haul regarding that information. It cost me and the person who transported me to the next location time which is money. I WILL NOT RENT FROM YOU AGAIN AS LONG AS I HAVE ANOTHER OPTION !!!!!!WARREN K.
Truck had old, dry rotted wipers and no windshield washer fluid. Gas gauge was faulty - registered 1/4 continuously while filling, then snapped to full. Given that I received the truck with a half a tank, that's rather quite annoying; though a nifty trick for U-Haul I suppose...Robert C.

The equipment was dirty and not well maintained. The van I rented had a Check Engine Light on and the park brake release latch was broken. I was told the truck had a full tank of fuel however, I drove the vehicle approximately 20 miles and had to put 6 gallons of fuel in it.Bryan M.
Clean the trucks inside and out, the cab was dirty the out side of the trk was really dirty up in "Moms attic" something STICKY had been spilt all the width across. I stopped @ a rest area and the truck would'nt start my son had to crawl under it which had mud caked under must have come from a snow place he had to jump the starter then again when we got to our destination I gave up called U-Haul to pick it up.DOROTHY C.

Trailer was rusted, not well maintained, had visible spots in the floor and roof that had been filled with silicon, the floor creeked and buckled when you walked on it and the door kept getting stuck making you reach up into the area it slides into to move the latch and pull down on the door to then get it to slide free and close. It was by far the worst trailer over ever seen in a uhaul fleet.Elijah H.

Rented a auto transport. Good thing i checked tire pressures right after i got home from picking up the trailer before loading vehicle. 2 tires had 60 psi and thats fine for what the tire calls for 1 tire had 40 psi and 1 tire had 10 psi. tire was fine after i aired them but wasnt sure if it had a small leak that could cause me a problem while traveling. made trip just fine but think tire should be air up and ready to go before pick up.ronald T.

Due to the provider changing locations. There was a little problem with the actual address of pickup and the providers actual office location. Not to much of an inconvienece though.Marc G.
Better signage on the actual location that tells me to go to a different location or call that location to find out about my rental would have been appreciated. That was not only confusing but inconvenient. If the site isn't ready for rentals it shouldn't be the primary contact location.Pamela W.

I do not know how long the place had been in business. The yard had gravel pile in the middle so maybe new. The place was supposed to be open till five but no one was there. The phone number you sent me was not the correct one. At about four pm place was not manned so I called a number I found one the door I got a message machine telling me to leave a message. My message was rather terse. When I tried the u-haul after hours return it told me I had no reservations or â€œcontractsâ€. So I could not do the on line late return. Your phone people are very good first rate. Pay them more.QUENTIN H.

I initially requested a 26' truck. They called that afternoon to say there was no 26' truck available but they would give me a 20' truck for a longer time period for the same price. They said they would throw a dolly in for free and I could have the truck overnight for no extra charge. They also said I could do an in-person pick-up for more convenience. When I showed up, the site was closed and it redirected me to another site. The other site had no idea what I needed so they sent me back to the first site to do a mobile pick up. (Between the two sites I saw 3 or 4 26' trucks that never moved the whole weekend.) I finally picked up the truck (that didn't have a dolly inside) and when I checked in, the app told me I had to have the truck back in 6 hours from pick up time, not the 16 hours they promised me. After almost an hour on the phone and being transferred several times, I finally got it straightened out. I received my charges on my card this morning. They charged me $30 more than initially quoted, and charged me for the dolly that wasn't in the truck. There is also a separate $30 for who knows what. In total, this is almost double the initial quote.Chalene P.

I originally had the reservation at a location in Duncan, AZ for 9 am. However, I arrived at this location and no one was there. I waited for an hour while also calling the number provided with no answer. I then had to call the location in Safford listed above and had my rental transferred even though it was 45 mins further. Luckily they were able to accommodate my request. I received a phone call from the original location at 11:30 am. I was then told that he was sleeping and just woke up. This even though the location was supposed to be open at 9 am. My review summed up: Safford location - Very good even though its further away from where I was moving. Duncan location - That is no way to conduct business especially when representing a large company like U-Haul.Arthur H.
