Store is advertised as being open today at 12:00 p.m. I took the trailer there at 12:50 p.m. the door was locked. I rang the bell. No one answered. There was a local phone number posted to call for UHaul if no one was at the store. I dialed the number. The message said that no messages were being accepted by that phone number. I called another phone number that was posted on the door. Got an answering machine. Left a message, unhooked the trailer and left it there. Hopefully no one comes along and steals it. There is another U-Haul location nearby. I will only be using it in the future.

LARRY MMy vehicle broke down on I-25 near Socorro, NM (about an hour from Elephant Butte). I called the nearest U-Haul, and the lady there (I believe her name is Danielle) was great. She immediately made a reservation and helped my husband pick up a tow dolly. Considering my sad circumstances, she helped make the purchase easy, quick, and pleasant. Thank you so much!
VICTOR LAccording to my rental agreement I was supposed to pick up my trailer at 8:00 am. I got there at 8:05 and all was locked up. I called the local number and got no answer. I waited a while, called again, no answer. I called the main UHaul number and after explaining the situation, was transferred to someone else. After 3 explanations to 3 people, I was put on hold. I heard noises inside so I started banging on the door and walls again. Finally a lady appeared, pointed to the Grandma sign, and said they didn't open until noon. After a short discussion, she proceeded with my rental.
