I was supposed to drop the trailer in Greer, SC (4 miles from home) but I received a text message stating it was to be dropped in Mauldin, SC (20 miles from home). It was easily corrected once I was able to talk to U-Haul Customer Service BUT I was on hold for 31 minutes!!! That's unacceptable.Gerald S.

My original dropoff location was not Greer Self Storage. The original location refused to allow me to drop the truck there. How can UHaul do that to people!?! I called UHaul service and was on hold for over 16 minutes and never did get hold of anyone. I resorted to searching google maps for UHaul. The closest locatio was Greer Self Storage so I drove there, all the while still on hold with UHaul. Once I arrived at Greer Self Storage, they did not allow anyone in the office. Had to call. They did however recieve the truck. So EXTREMELY disappointed in the UHaul customer support. Truck and equipment was fabulous but service was so frustrating.Erik W.

I dealt with a male employee. He was nothing but rude and unprofessional. The vehicle was dirty and needed cleaning. Returned it and dealt with female employee who was nice. I would not recommend this particular rental place to anyone.ERIC M.

The website and app check-in was not functioning properly to allow me to proceed to pick-up. The local office required phone or web contact only. By phone, John, the local rep, was curt by saying, "I can't do anything to help you; you need to call the Uhaul 800 #." I expressed this is inconvenient to the customer. John proceeded to say, "You didn't rent from John-Haul, but U-Haul and I have nothing to do with the malfunction." After 1 hour of calls and chats with U-hal reps, the issue was still stalled and the U-hal rep assured me John could have helped locally with the issue. John chose not to help or assess his coworker. Ultimately, I had to call the local store again and the lady in the local store was very helpful, respectful and fully resolved the issue John could have chosen to resolve 1 hour prior.Bernell I.
This location is only available to rent by phone only. You are not allowed to come inside to rent. Most of the time, you have to leave a phone message and wait for a return call. The location is convenient in Greer but not very professional in appearance.SKIPPER B.

Check engine light went on after about 2 hours of the trip from SC to CT. No hand truck available when I went to pick up truck which I was told wouldn't be an issue. Local office opened at 9 am.MARK P.

I was there to rent my truck. They took about hour to do tje reservation and they dont jave any extra employees. After that they give me the keys for vehicales and the vehicale key not insert in truck because some bodyess the lock. Then after ten minutes they check tje vehicales. And tjey told me wait and store give me call after 30 monutes. And told me i need to find otjer location. Westing time. I am not going to rent hual again. the amount of that fits in a truck must be done by professional packers and 90% of you clients are not that good and the truck we received was under estimated and we packed it solid. Your representatives should let customers know that. knowing that i would have used the 26' instead of the 20' and i did not have but an estimated 2 rooms or less of furniture.Mark M.

The best thing you haul can do to improve this location would be to remove your equipment from that location I was harassed for keeping the trailer an extra day which I've done countless times throughout the years of rental with U-Haul service and I never ever dealt with such an arrogant individual, as is the owner of Greer Self StorageNicholas M.

I had issues returning the truck online after hours. The uhaul app wouldn't recognize my location. However when I called CS they made a note on my contract that I had the issue. I also left a note with the key. I wasn't charged the extra $20 so I appreciated this.Amanda C.
