The truck was so dirty and we had to sweep it and clean it first. It was literally not usable. Then we were given VERY USED furniture pads. The site doesn't specify they would be used. These had dog hair all over them. They should be laundered every time! We did not use them and demanded a refund, to which the business owner laughed. I told him to call U-Haul and get the refund then and he just gave me a $10 bill and told me to go away. Great customer service, NOT. I will never use U-Haul again.Allison M.

We set up the 15' truck and car carrier 1 month prior to pick up date. Called to confirm and change car carrier date further up but keep truck on scheduled date. Gregs Auto ended up changing the whole order to new date. I was stuck in a GA hotel heading to NC from FL in fear when Greg told us he did not have a truck for the day we originally asked for. I finally contacted Adam @ Mt Airy Self storage 1334 W Pine in Mt Airy who helped me understand what Gregs Auto did and suggested I call customer service, we did and the agent helped us straighten it all out!Dennis S.

I checked in online in the gentleman at the counter was very upset about this. He told us never to use the mobile app, that it didn't work. He still went through and entered the information on his computer and then there was some sort of exception. He told us that we would have to come back later until U-Haul called him about the error. He called us back 10 minutes later so we can pick up the truck. Overall he was very rude. When I got the truck and trailer home I realized that the electric connection wasn't made either or the trailer brakes.Keith T.

Vehicle reserved is not what I got, guy was a complete A** hole, refused to allow the 26' truck I reserved and confirmed with as 1 way. Then charged me more for the 20 foot. Truck wobbled and shook horribly from pick up to drop off. Drove 7 hours away expecting to be done in 1 trip, have to make 2nd small trip that could of been avoided with truck reserved, spent 45 minutes waiting on hold with u haul before hanging up and just taking ragged 20 foot truckMaurice K.

When I arrived the guy had attitude. Then informed me someone offered him cash under table for my truck and I almost didn't get it..the inside of truck was dirty...no bathrooms...the inside of trailor smelled of gasoline..I drove 3 hours for this trip and will never go back or deal with them againLaura R.

The truck I rented appears to need some attention given to the transmission. It didn't want to shift gears easily and had a hard time climbing inclines. Other than that, I was very happy with the entire experience and my move went quite smoothly. This guy was a complete jerk to me! I got there and my Uhaul reservation was wrong. He told me oh well not his problem. I told him that I would go ahead and contact Uhaul to get it straightened out, he said if I do that he will cancel my reservation and give it to someone else! He bullied me so bad! I got in the truck and it was gross! The truck looked like it had never been wiped out the back and cab I had to clean cans and food wrappers out of there and considering we're in a pandemic it would be smart to clean the trucks evern more! I cant believe the experience I've had with the last two rentals of the U-Haul. The last one was even more of a nightmare than this! I worked for Uhaul through the Woodshed in Brandon FL and NEVER treated your customers like this! Mrs. Linda Bevis never treated your customers like this and runs a great business! Some of these places needs a serious evaluation of the people it lets rent and work for you, But since now your on every corner and let just about anyone rent them out for you.. Its obviously about the money.. Guess that's the new American way . Its all about the money not the customers!Ashley V.

I made the reservation on Tuesday for a Thursday pick up. When we arrived Thursday to pick up the vehicle, the employee claimed he didn't have the reservation and the vehicle we had reserved wasn't on the lot. He gave us a different vehicle. The vehicle had not been maintained and was damaged. There were holes in the side of the truck where you could see the sun shining through standing inside of the truck. The truck was dirty inside and hadn't been swept out. The oil light was on and the A/C didn't work. The amount that was quoted during the reservation was significantly less than was charged at the location by almost $100. When the truck was returned, we made sure to completely fill the truck up and sweep the inside to get it ready for the next person.PERRY L.

The truck was listed as 1/2 full. When I noted to the representative that it wasn't quite that full, he did not make things right. I was in too big of a hurry to argue. Also, when I began loading, I realized the appliance dolly I rented was broken. The handle was missing washers that kept it from tightening when the strap was attached. Also, I noted that I was charged $20 for furniture blankets even though my on-line receipt said $10.Mark J.

Greg is a jerk. My trailer was not there when I arrived for pick up. He said that he couldn't help me. I asked what good it did to make a reservation and he said that using the online reservation was my first mistake. I said I also called and spoke to a reservation person and he said that's your second mistake. He said that I was a slow learner in front of other customers.
